The art of hearing Josh's life story...no useful information here, just an autobiography. You should post the whole book or take this down.

Josh Waitzkin >>>> I fully understand your newfound passion for Tao Te Ching by Laotzu. Have you also tried Chuangtzu´s works? In my native language they´re called "The soul and the butterfly" and "The mind goes North"? Just curious. Maybe you´ve also seeked wisdom in zenbuddhist learning?

Josh's apology for abandoning chess. Can't blame him though, the game is pretty pointless.

@@MrLeo3780 he probably hit a plateau but its more like he like learning process so much that hinder his potential. For example he dislike studying opening and pure memorization that could stop improving in chess. But to say he doesn't have chance is wrong. He beat a lot of GM like kaidanov, lputian, Roman dzindzi. And he beat in the bread butter of GM which is the endgame. Known IM like eric rosen or levy rozman doesn't have chance is possible because they cant beat regular GM. Even his peer in junior World championship all of the become GM so he should be in the same class but he decided to stop chess and that his decision.

@@MrLeo3780WRONG. Josh was the top young player in the U.S. when a movie was made about him. The movie's success exponentially increased the already huge amount of pressure he had on himself. That's why he quit the game.

It's a great and quite technical as much as an intuitive book about the learning process, with many other sources and theories included. If you find the whole book, don't hesitate and read it. It worths it.
