It’s insane to me that KPOP is literally just American pop music performed by Koreans with batches of Korean language in it… and it’s somehow considered it’s own genre. It added nothing to music, it is a pure carbon copy of American music just by a different race lol. It’s like saying “I’m not just a rap fan, I’m specifically a white rap fan”… but even then, a lot of white rappers brought a super unique style to the game that was totally their own and moved it forward.
