My mother whom lived to 99 yrs and 10 months told me about some of the Silent STARS of her childhood. THEDA BARA was one, she saw "A Fool There Was", "Cleopatra" and the original "Birth Of A Nation", GLORIA SWANSON, MARY PICKFORD, DOUGLAS FAIRBANKS, BUSTER KEATON etc. When early TV showed silent movie's we saw some of these SILENT STARS and enjoyed GLORIA SWANSON in "Sunset Bloevard".

I first learned of Nina Foch when she guest starred in the 1960's war series "Combat", Starring Vic Morrow, in the episode called "The Casket". I thought from her role, that she was a great actress. For those interested in seeing her in a different genre, look her up in "Combat", episode "The Casket". I loved this episode especially because Vic Morrow is my Favorite Actor, and he had the lead role in this particular episode as well.

Butch Patrick didn't just bring a different energy to the character of Eddie > the more important factual reality was that his character was written entirely differently than the scowling pilot episode "Eddie" / Happy Derman,

Well one fact about the plot of this fine movie is the fan theory that the two reporters from Slop magazine were actually Artificial Intelligences.

Shocked, I am shocked that there was stress on the filming of the TV series MAVERICK! It was and is a timeless classic and the product of the efforts of a lot of very talented people. Talented people are a stress in themselves to deal with, but when something like this results, it is worth the effort.

This movie was so corny. It wasn’t John Wayne’s best film even though it had great actors.

Gee whiz, why of why is it necessary to keep repeating the same phrase such as "extended fight scenes for comic relief showing the influence of John Ford" was used twice within about 90 seconds and I quit counting the number of times the phrase "1963 McClintock" was used. The only thing new was hearing this movie is now in public domain. Don't bother watching. Fire it up just long enough to give it a thumbs down for DUMB.

That time, DeNiro was listed in that Madam's black book of VIP's who were out to score 15 yo girls..... Never mind, he had Dinner with Roman Polanski just before that creep raped and sodomized that 13 yo girl. You know that director who is banned from the United States unless he'd like to be in prison. The one all these Trump haters give a standing ovation to at all the awards. Birds of a feather it seems.

He was a bit of a liar and he was quite horrible to her on the set. When she was filming someone like it hot she was married to Arthur Miller and pregnant with Arthur’s child. You can’t believe everything Hollywood "has been" has written because he was a self absorbed man who needed a few quid and knew her name sold copy.

This was the most stupid, bad written YT content I've ever seen. What's with the verb "showcase" that comes, I don't know (I lost count), maybe 20 or 30 times in the text? Why is RT seeing Lawrence Olivier in "Richard III" in de 50's illustrated with a poster of "The Boys from Brazil", a 70's movie? What about showing the poster from "Vertigo", when RT isn't in the cast and has never worked either with James Stewart nor Kim Novak? And most of all, what is the late QUEEN ELIZABETH doing here???
