On the 2025 AT 4 , garbage wheels , should have stuck with the black gloss as on the 2024, gear shift on the steering column another dumb move and a manual rear view mirror , this so GM new model lets cut out the better features that were on the 2024 , I just bought the 2024 and they forgot to offer the tech pack which I thought was standard , now I am stuck with a piece of junk.

I think these look great and might be the best of the three. I’m not sold on the engine still. Had a 2017 Acadia and was going to wait for the 2024 but I just can’t stand the way 4 cylinders drive/sound. But props to GM on the design - these all look great

Wonder what GM created to FAIL on this?? GM has lost my credibility to buy another GM product! I have a 2019 GMC YUKON DENALI that dropped a lifter in the motor at 75k, 2011 Cadillac escalade with 6.2 engine failed at 86k, a 2011 chevy equinox with a OIL CONSUMPTION ISSUE, and a 2019 GMC SIERRA DENALIHD duramax with MULTIPLE ISSUES

One thing I found out recently….if you hold in the engine start button for about 5 seconds and not have your foot on the brake, the accessories will come on and stay on for as long as you like.

Just bought one. After a week, it has developed a very loud vibration that sounds like your driving on the rumble strip, right around the 1900 to 2100 rpm. It stops when the transmission finally shifts up. Waiting for the dealership to respond/inspect/repair. It was pretty neat for a week. No confidence in this vehicle at this point!! Hopefully it can be fixed. We shall see….

I have this truck. It does close with the remote. You just have to double tap the button and hold it down. They do that so you can’t accidentally hit the button while someone is loading stuff in it.

I’ve had the Sierra EV for a month, and love it. It towed my 9500lb camper 208 mi at highway speed, which is more than my previous gas V8 F-150 would do with a 26gal tank. It handled that weight so much better than any 1/2ton I’ve used. If I had to go back to gas I’d be sad. So convenient to charge from 240v at home and wake up to a truck ready to go every day. Long distance heavy towing across multiple states though…go with a diesel…for now.
@sesmeltz1965
@sesmeltz1965 11 күн бұрын
I’ve only had mine for a week and only towed one day. I’ll agree, but add the caveat that if you don’t tow more than 250 miles more than a few times a year, this is still the better truck. I’ll happily deal with unhitching a trailer to charge on the rare long-distance haul if it means I get to drive this all the rest of the time!
@rm10002
@rm10002 11 күн бұрын
I will agree with you on that, for 95% of what I do I’d choose this over a diesel or big gas V8…so that’s what I did :) Rides better than a 1/2 ton, pulls my 9,500lb camper and my 7,000lb tractor on a trailer harder than a 3/4 ton.

@@rm10002Got my first tow with it today, a 6k lb trailer running between Montgomery and Birmingham and back. About 200 miles overall. I took detailed notes and did the math - I could have gone about 270 miles total before charging. I know 6k isn’t near maxing it out - sounds like you’ve got that covered with your big trailer - but I’m impressed. 3-4 hours of towing deserves a 20-30 min charging break. I don’t think I will 😂ver have an issue with the truck’s capabilities. Have you had a chance to do something similar with your 9,500lb trailer? I’m interested in what range to expect under a worst case scenario of an absolutely maxed out towing capacity. Doubt I’ll ever pull anything that heavy but it would be good to know.

@@sesmeltz1965 Cool to hear about your experiences, thanks for sharing. So my camper is a 31ft bumper-pull type, 8,800lbs stock but 9,500lbs as measured on a CAT scale at my local Flying J when it’s ready to roll with all the camping gear etc inside. It does not pull easy, especially in the wind. With camper attached I left my house at 100%. Outside temp was at 55F to start and 80F at the end. First half of the trip was headed south to my hometown into a 15-20mph headwind so I did around 55mph. That used 50% to go 94mi. Turned around and took the same path on the way back. On the way home I had a 15-20mph tailwind so I felt comfortable going faster at 65mph and I used 40% to go 94 mi to get home. That left me at 10% state of charge, and estimated 20mi range remaining. So overall, I did 188mi with my 9,500lb camper on a two-way trip at avg of 60mph, with 10% (20mi range) remaining at the end for a total estimate of 208mi. I was tempted to run her all the way down to zero, but it’s my personal truck so I didn’t. Hope that helps! Feel free to swap any other data you get :)

@@rm10002Thanks! That’s not unreasonable for that big of a load! I could see stopping every 2.5 to 3 hours of towing that much, assuming it’s not every week. Especially with the fast charging speeds of the Sierra, it’s definitely doable.

Bought this a couple weeks ago. 40 miles and it broke. I now have a $2400 84lb metal in garage. Support is terrible. I ordered front basket and it was missing the mount and 4 screws. It'll be winter before it gets fixed if I'm lucky and burn the warranty while broken or in storage. Very bummed. stay away.

I dony understand why these trucks are marketed as offroad. I get it 2" lift, skid plates and hybrid mud tires but the suspension is kind of a joke on TB. Rancho shocks? Cmon GM... especially when they sit that low.
