I'm not Scottish but as a northerner I'll attempt to translate: "I'm back fishing and I'm back fishing for the Pike. I've had good success so far. The first video is going to be uploaded this Friday the 18th. I'm going to have further videos coming up with my recent tips, which have been really good and I'm also going to have several videos coming up showing my full setup and how I personally fish for the Pike and hopefully these videos can be helpful. If it helps one person then it's been a huge success but till then tight lines and the first video's up this Friday. It's good to be back."

@@Hookedonfishingscotland I'm half joking of course and mean well but in a way I think it'd be a good idea to talk a wee bit slower because it'll be difficult for outsiders to understand. Personally I love your accent, where exactly in Scotland are you from btw? I'm from Yorkshire, you have a marvellous accent but it's a trifle difficult to understand when you talk that quickly I have to say even for me that's used to Scotts. I know it's a short form video but perhaps add some text to it to help you narrow things down in what you say like the dates of new releases for us to see to bullet point it or something idk really it's your call. Only trying to be constructive in my criticism because I showed your video to a friend of mine who's American and they had no idea you were speaking English haha. Anyway hope you're well and thank you for replying to me so promptly. Keep up the good work, god bless.

Thanks very much for the feed back, it's very much appreciated, will take everything you said on board 😁👍, will try speak slower and more clearly in the short videos 😁👍, thanks for your feed back and support very much appreciated 😁👍🎣🎣🎣

@@Hookedonfishingscotland Ultimately it's up to you because I also think it's nice to document the way people would naturally speak but you could do that in videos not related to fishing. If you're going for popularity and to grow the channel and teach people about fishing though and though personally I'd be a little slower and clearer because like I said the Americans will definitely struggle to understand without subtitles and that's a huge audience for this topic especially. I'd have to look into subtitles because I'm sure there's some AI programmes out now that would save a lot of leg work and potentially translate into other languages too. I know Mr beast has an identical channel to his own but all dubbed in Spanish, imagine all the extra views creators are missing out on by limiting themselves to only one language. I'm not only talking about your channel but just in general overall. It's one thing to get British and American, Australia, Canadian/ English speaking interested in a channel but the untapped potential of making videos accessible to Indian, chinese, Russian, Arabic, Spanish speaking people etc is highly underlooked in my opinion. I mean just think of all those potential viewers, not to sound greedy but that's a lot of revenue coming in if you're monatized alone not to mention merchandising and all the other doors it could open up from a business standpoint. Now I'm not saying all of that applies to this channel necessarily but it's definitely something to think about and consider, every channel, every business, every journey starts with that first step, or a relatively new channel I'd say at over a thousand subscribers you've already done the hardest part. For most people though it's just a hobby and I completely understand that but for all you know you might end up with a million subscribers next year.

Try keep warm is important mate get a good bivvy and rap up well, Lomond is really open on most bays so the wind and cold weather is something else 😁👍, try looking for bays with drop offs to deep water. I find it holds more fish, good bait like mackerel , herring, sardines, trout and lamprey has done really well for me in the past, and patience mate it can be hard fishing in winter, tight lines hope you catch, if you need any more help you can message me on FB 😁👍🎣🎣🎣
