I appreciate your input! Just got the gameplay all-in and it will be my first boss battler. I'm hoping to see if this can dethrone my favorite game, Too Many Bones. I'm also getting a 3D printer to print out some terrain to help improve the game state.

Great video. Very informative and beautifully shot. Great sound and crisp visuals. I really like the way you lay the video out too, covering everything in an easy to digest way. I always like hearing a 2 player perspective for games as that is what I play at mostly. Thank you for a great review.

Hey quick question, how big of a table do you need to comfortably play the game?
@boardgamesfortwo19 күн бұрын
At about 3:50 Ishow it on the table. Out table is a 3’ by 6’. I would say comfortably 2.5’ by about 3’ would be plenty for two. With 4, you could fit it on 3 by 3, but it would be tight. Happy gaming!

Just foumd your channel (searching for Hexplore It) and excited to see the breadth of games you’ve covered! COIN is great, and this is one of my favorites. They are hard to table thoughfor sure. Just a long teach and the solo bots are tough. For this game in particular, it does work very well 2 player if both are comfortable running two factions.

Wonder if the rotation of games help with the replay value. Do you guys still enjoy the game after a year?
@boardgamesfortwo21 күн бұрын
We do have a tendency to play the same game a few times in a row then put it away, since we mostly play at 2 players. A New Year's resolution was to rotate through some old ones we haven't played in a while and so far it's been neat to see which ones have held up. As for The Fox Experiment specifically, we culled this one from our collection. Good game, we just felt like rolling more dice = victory and trying out different strategies other than that didn't make a difference.

yeah but this is incorrect, all of your completed rows should move their tiles over simultaneously, as new tiles can also benefit from the adjacency bonus. Also why in the hell would you double count the new tile????
@boardgamesfortwoАй бұрын
From the rulebook regarding wall-tiling (page 4): "Go through your pattern lines from top to bottom. Move the rightmost tile from each complete line to the space of the same color in the corresponding line to your wall. Each time you move a tile, score points immediately." Move, score, move, score, etc. It also explicitly states in the rulebook (page 5) that tiles are scored "horizontally...(including the newly placed one)...then vertically (including the newly placed one)." The new tile is counted twice.

Hey! Where to buy the sleeves from? And do the cards fit in the game box or do you have to store them in an external container?
@boardgamesfortwoАй бұрын
The brand of sleeves I use is called Dragon Shield, typically I'll get them off Amazon or our local game store if I'm in the area. $10/pack for 100 sleeves. For Marvel Champions I have an entirely different storage container than the game boxes that keeps the collection together since I have so many of the hero packs and expansions. Hope this helps!
