There used to a Newsagent on the wharf at Manly . He had photos for sale of Ferries in heavy seas. Some were amazing with things like props metres out of the water or bows buried in waves. I never bought one but was tempted a couple of times.

Dear god, memories! Big hello to Ric Bartolozzi! I loved racing at MooreBank Raceway! great fun and a great memory of my younger years. Will i come back? not sure but i hope the club keeps going and new members and younger children keep enjoying this hobby. It's funny thinking about how we all made a big deal about these cars, and what we considered "drama" within the community back then. Maybe we all should of just chilled out a bit more and not taken it all so seriously? I guess hindsight makes everything easy, or maybe that's old age? I remember helping out with the resurfacing of the track and the forming of the ripple strips back then. On a side note I heard a few well respected and well known people from the NSW RC community passed away, R.I.P to those we knew who passed away.

Drink Container Deposit Scheme - a reality for NSW? It appears after many years of procrastination, the Liberal Party and Premier Mike Baird has finally had the courage to take on Coca-Cola Amatil and the Food and Grocery Council of Australia as well as major bottle and plastic recyclers, all were opposed to the scheme introduced in South Australia in the late seventies and more recently in the Northern Territory. It is a scheme I have been trying to have implemented in NSW since 2002, Info here: lcit.com.au/drink-container-deposit-scheme-a-reality-for-nsw/

Israeli spys... Ron started learning Krav Maga from a very early age in the city of Netanya, Israel (the birthplace of Krav Maga), where he trained for many years under Israel’s top Krav Maga experts. When he turned 18, like every Israeli, Ron was drafted into the Israeli Defence Force (IDF) where he passed rigorous selections and was accepted into one of Israel’s renowned counter-terrorist units. In 2001, under the orders of his commanders, Ron was sent to the Israeli Defence Force Institute of Combat Fitness and Krav Maga. There he underwent some of the IDF’s toughest training in the process of becoming an IDF Military Krav Maga Instructor. Upon returning to his unit, Ron was appointed the chief KM instructor responsible for ensuring that each of the unit’s soldiers were at the top of their game when it came to close-quarters fighting. When his service with the IDF was up, Ron looked to bring his skills to the civilian world and completed the Civilian Instructors Course with the International Krav Maga Federation. The course was conducted by Eyal Yanilov, Gabi Noah and Ammon Darsa - three of the highest ranking KM instructors in the world. In 2005, Ron moved to Australia and founded the Krav Maga Defence Institute, which is now one of the largest and most dominant Krav Maga schools in Australia. Ron has more than a decade of experience teaching Krav Maga and has worked with soldiers, police officers, government agencies, civilians and children in Israel, the US and Australia.

If you actually look at any ad. from domino's pizza about gluten free. It doesn't say gluten free pizza, it says "gluten free CRUST". All the team members should have been trained how to explain that there is cross contamination with other items that have gluten in it. Therefore it's GLUTEN FREE CRUST!!! not pizza

I've been on a sydney ferry when it hit similer rough seas (think it was the queenscliff, but it was one of the manly ones) Fun to me standing up front on the inside it was fun but a few passangers were a bit freaked out due to the lean at some times felt like it was going to tip over but didnt, there very determined but they have been known to halt ferry services for saftey reasons in similer conditions, at least you know with these ferries they aint piloted by italians (they'd go doe otherwise
