Hi i have a C180K mercedes W204 2008 1.8 petrol/gas elegance. My radio/sound is working fine. The only problem is the screen. The screen is on and illuminated but it is not readable/fuzzy. What should i do. Thanks

@zeddya2197 it sounds like you have a bad display. You can try checking all of the cables to make sure they are connected good. Maybe take them off and put them back on just to get rid of any tarnish on the pins. If that doesn't work I would upgrade it. You can get bluetooth, backup camera, all kinds of new technology in an upgraded radio.

I've got 204 Mercedes Benz radio. The problem is, the radio plays as if the ignition is off. It plays for a certain time and switches itself off and l must press on again for it to play. And it's not communicating with the steering anymore. At you can't see the radio it's dark but playing

Many of these subframes are under "extended warranty" (effectively a recall without officially being a recall) You can get them replaced for free after a safety inspection at a Mercedes dealer. Just had one replaced on a 2010 E350 with 210k miles 2 weeks ago. Here is the info and the years and models under warranty. The, "retaing ring" you referred to, is actually a metal sealing ring, to keep transmission fluid pouring out of the transmission.

@@MarkGeorgeFantasticAdventures I started on the driver side. The axel was fused to the drive shaft. I used a 5lb slide hammer. I ended up pulling the whole drive shaft and broke the case. I should have stopped when it didn’t release. I’ll find out the repair cost and let you know!

@@MarkGeorgeFantasticAdventures I ended up pulling the side out of the oil pan. Had to get a new drive shaft and oil pan. $3500. They needed to disassemble the subframe to remove the oil pan

So I took my car to the Mercedes dealership and they wanted to charge me $2,400 to fix it and had the same exact issue that your car has the same issue that your car has I tried it and it didn't work I tried it again it didn't work I was devastated I don't have the 2400 end result was I ended up doing it five times and on the 5th time it works and the issue has not come back thank you so much

@@MarkGeorgeFantasticAdventures I told my husband about this video and he said he had already tried doing this the day before but no success. I tried it this morning in the driveway...didn't work...and then another time, but the third time I tried, it worked! So bizarre. Not entirely sure the light/error message wasn't just going on and off intermittently so I can't be absolutely certain that recalibrating the steering is what made iy go away, but at least it's gone....for now...and has stayed off all day.

How are u again,started the same repair like i said earlier,im half way there,was finally able to ge,t the C pin that holds the bearing And cleanup shavings and ball bearings with a magnet and then i looked in there and saw this cross pin on the other side,,did this hapenned to you?cause im afraid i might had pull it down with the magnet

I have C300 2010, my fuse was good also. I have the same problem. I need a 10amp fuse, if its out and I need a skinny screw driver, t20? Your vehicle yrs? I might need to take it to mechanic but I will update you. Thank you

Pretty good for week 8 I’m also learning and I figured out if you place cardboard over the stings (not touching the strings but take it to the board to help guide the bow) it will help grow the muscle memory to keep the bow straight

I'm pretty sure there's an amplifier for the speakers somewhere. It could be an issue with that. Sounds like another KZbin search. Good luck getting it working. Let me know if you figure it out.

I'm not sure what causes it. I performed this on my car a few years ago. I've driven around 30k miles since and haven't had any other issues so I think you should be good. Someone mentioned that hitting a large pothole could cause it to lose the calibration. That makes sense to me. Thanks for the comment and here's hoping for another 30k miles on your car without any issues.
