Imma be subjective based on what i feel is happening and based on all the podcasts, news and everything i heard from the start of the season to the playoffs. The problem with the nba and media right now is that they wanted to push american athletes as the new face of the league. It's that time again of the decade where torches are being passed down, evidently the finals right now is like the new era in its prime. They wanted someone to take the mantle of the best player from jokic to one of the young american athletes, Itll be a really hard pill to swallow for them if this 2020-2030's face of the nba would be all european. Imagine this, giannis in 2021, jokic last year, now luka is in the beginning of his prime. If the decade would be dominated purely by European players, what would that mean for nba Basketball ? Like remember when argentina was dominating the olympics and USA was falling out? Ofcourse the nba wont take that thing lightly. Same goes for the passing of the torch as face of the nba. Thats why theyre pushing ant edwards and sga to be that next guy, even tho evidently they are not yet there. On the other hand Jayson tatum is another thing.

What strategy? It is like mavs is having fat ass, shifty Jordan who can shoot 3s and a taller, non-ball-hogging Iverson who can dribble better. Nobody stopping these duos when they have perfect team of role players built around them. And Kidd is the perfect coach for these two.

If you've never played ball and won championships, you have to have roll players!!! Plain and simple....I owned a semi-pro team in my 20's and 30's....we ran off 28 championships in a row!!!! I would give the 7 foot trophies to my uncle and when we had a couple hours until our next game.....his wife would make us lunch ...and we would sit and I would say......look that's what we did!!! His entire living room was filled with trophies!!!

That's the Lakers problem, they wont get a big man. Same with the warriors. You need a defensive big man. You guys have tons of players that can score. But no big man

Is anthony davis not a big man?.. at 6'11", athletic, great rebounder and shot blocker, rim protector with a shooting touch..the lakers have it all..but the weak link is lebron, especially in defense..trade lebron for jokic and the lakers have a championship run for a minimum of three years..and denver will be in the play in..

@@antoniouy9704 no Anthony Davis is not a big man and he's too fragile. Just my personal opinion Davis is equivalent to Gordon and Gordon has jokic as his big man, which frees up Gordon to dominate because jokic has his back. No body has ADs back like that and when Dwight Howard did have his back they won the championship 🏆. Just imagine if LeBron and AD could spread the floor because they got a real big man. It wouldn't be as easy to guard them because there both threats and would almost be playing the same position. Right now they only have to guard LeBron but with a big man the challenge gets real. Imagine if Gordon was the only big man and he had no jokic. That's how I see it. Ad needs a jokic or Howard back, or any defensive big man to win
