I'm not sure if you watched the video because I never stated that Trump was amazing at all. I stated Trump is sinful and flawed just like all humans including Kamala. BUT God often uses the least deserving, least likely, or most sinful person. I encourage you to pray and seek Holy Spirit guidance. Read the many Bible stories full of sinners who God used. For example, David was called a man after God's heart and he committed murder and adultery.

To clarify, this video is not geared towards African-Americans. It's geared towards those who feel that Trump winning represented a slap in the face to Black people, who feel that Kamala's race or gender played in role in her not winning the election, and who feel fearful as a person of color and think the next 4 years will be bleak. I intentionally used the term "Black" instead of "African-American" throughout the video to encompass individuals of African, Caribbean, and other Black diasporic backgrounds. I'm speaking to the community who have expressed they are fearful, angry, and hurt at the results. Everyone knows I'm not biased and that I deeply respect and value all groups, including African-Americans (which I am also), and would never question anyone's intelligence. Race is a made up social construct and has absolutely nothing to do with an individual’s intellectual capacity. I wish the few individuals who took offense would see the intent behind the video rather than make baseless assumptions about the intention behind an opinion that was expressed that- race plays a role in people's decisions including who they vote for. Obviously that doesn't mean that race is the only factor people consider. Of course, people consider qualifications, experience, etc. But to say that race plays no role in who people vote for and who they choose to support is just not true. This is what happens with racism. I was just sharing that the reverse happens. I stated how many people of color share that they only support black businesses. Many people of color stated they voted for Kamala because they wanted to see another Black president. It's actually normal for people to want to support people with whom they have things in common with. It has nothing to do with intelligence. Thanks for watching!

Hi Dr. Judy what I and others replied to was when you stated there were blacks who voted for VP Harris because she is black. That wasn't the case. She was voted for because her values and her platform aligned with the people who voted for her. She had a larger educated demographic supporters versus Trump. Her race had nothing to do with it. And like I said previously many voted for her because they didn't want to elect a felon etc. etc. If Trump was black and everything else was the same I and others wouldn't vote for him. There's a lot of blacks who don't support Clarence Thomas. Why? He doesn't represent their values. I replied to the reply you wrote to me a few weeks ago and it appears your reply to me and my response to you has been taken off the page. Transparency would be nice. Thank you.

People are assuming AA voted for VP because she was black!! That’s an assumption and insult!! When people say vote the Bible or vote your Christian values…That would be to me the 10 Commandments or the fruit of the spirit. Who comes closest to that is how I vote. The black community IS NOT freaking out the way you assume.? A great disappointment but black people ALWAYS move forward and survive! We are a strong people in the Lord and always will be! Please don’t insult our spiritual walk with God. We are not an ignorant people! We would have been CONCERNED either way but more concerning Trump. Thank you for your comment. This video is not about African-Americans. It's for anyone who identifies as a Black Christian who is feeling angry and anxious about the election results. "Black" includes those of African and Caribbean descent, including myself. It includes my church and many of my friends and associates. Many have shared they voted for Kamala because they wanted to see a Black woman as President and they felt that she would advocate for Black people more than Trump would. Similarly, I'm sure that there are people who do not look like Kamala who did not vote for her because they are of a different race. It is normal human behavior to want to support someone who you feel you have something in common with. It has nothing to do with intelligence. In fact, human intelligence often gets in the way of spiritual discernment because most of the time what God tells someone to do is not logical by human standards. This video provided encouragement that even though it makes no logical sense by human standards, God often uses the least deserving and most flawed, sinful people. It also provides a plan going forward- the church needs to pray, fast, and seek God and ask the Holy Spirit for guidance.
@rochelleparker1620

Good evening Dr. Judy. Yes this election was about discernment. I pray that God will open your eyes and others because as Christians we follow God who is about love not hate. When a candidate continuous to spew hate that is not of God. Also people vote not just because a candidate is a woman or black (VP Harris is Caribbean-Asian) but based on their platform. Blessings.
@drjudymd
@drjudymd 14 күн бұрын
Hi Rochelle, my personal opinion on either candidate is irrelevant. I do not represent Republican or Democrat. I have the gift of discernment and my eyes are definitely open. This video is about how God revealed to me that Trump would win and God will use him somehow. As shared in the video, there are countless stories in the bible where God used the least deserving, most flawed, sinful person. Also, there was no reference to anyone's intelligence in this video. I would never make such a biased statement about any group, especially a group that I am a part of. It's far-fetched that you would conclude that is what I meant. Numerous people of color have shared that they only support Black businesses or that they voted for Kamala because they wanted to see a Black woman president. Intelligence has nothing to do with spiritual discernment and being obedient to God. In fact, rationale and human intelligence often gets in the way of radical obedience and blind trust because generally the things God does or instructs people to do typically seems illogical by human standards. I encourage you to fast, pray, and seek God on the matter.

@@drjudymd I've fasted and pray regularly my entire life including twice a week now. Black people supporting black businesses is intelligent. If we don't support black business who will. Not sure what black people you are around but the ones I interact with don't support a black candidate unless they are qualified and exceptional. The fact the a white candidate who is a felon, serial liar etc. can get back in the white house tells us we still have a significant race problem in this country. If he were black with is background he would have never gotten in. I brought the issues to your attention as on other occasions you have made disparaging comments about African-Americans and you may not have realized it. I'm coming to you out of concern and with christian love. I am concerned about those who ignore blatant signs of hate and dishonesty. There are many who no matter what he does still support him. It's bigger than the election. It's about life and death. I often wonder how did the people of Jonestown were deceived. It's that cult mentality .Ignoring clear signs of the evil one. Matt 7:21-23 many will be surprised thinking they are following God's will but He will say I know you not. I'm praying that no one will allow themselves to be deceived or lost. May God bless us all in this journey called life.

@@drjudymd I replied to this message previously but it may be on a different page. Many people of color and otherwise knew Trump was going to win. As a matter of fact when Trump threw his hat in the ring my sister said he would win. Our first obligation as Christians is to know the truth and to be an example of Christ who displayed love not hate. My great concern is those who support Trump ignore what he says and does including making the country put prayer back in school. This is a fundamental principle of mixing church with state which Christians particularly SDAs oppose. I see those supporting this not knowing it starts little and builds to Sunday blue laws etc. Minds are so closed (especially those who are staunch Trump supporters) it's like the cult mentality. That's what happened to the people of Jonestown. They ignored the red flags and adopted the cult mentality not questioning clear signs of evil and deceit. I pray that people won't continue to be deceived.

Good evening and happy Sabbath Dr. Judy. I have to say I'm disappointed but not surprised by who you voted for which is your right. My main issue is the multiple false and insulting statements you made about African-Americans including the one about AA voting for VP Harris just because she is black. African-Americans are intelligent and voted for her because she's intelligent and represents issues we like to have addressed not because she's black. People (AA and otherwise) voted for her based on that and/or because they didn't want a convicted felon, racist, rapist, dictator. Please educate yourself about AA and African history. The reason you were able to cast your vote as a black person was due to our sacrifice and intelligence in securing the ability of all to vote particularly black people. Also, you stated he wants to put prayer back into the US but if you listen to what he says it will be by force (make people pray). As an SDA that should be concerning to you. You also said he was honest. What?! He is continually fact checked about all the lies he continuously tells. Open your eyes. If you want further information about AA or prophecy please contact me (you have my info) and listen to what Henry Wright said regarding prophecy and the election. Thank you and have a good evening.

Amen and amen and spoken with a mouthful of truth. It’s an insult to say that Black people only voted for her because she was black and not because we are intelligent people who can make an intelligent and spiritual decision based on who represents closer to the 10 Commandments or the fruit of the spirit! that would not be Trump! People use the Bible all the time to justify or manipulate in making a decision that they know they want.

I do hear some black people being defensive whenever someone criticizes Kamala and brings up her gender and race why she lost. I am an African and black progressive leftist who strongly supports reparation, justice system, Medicaid for all, anti-corruption, and genocide. I have volunteered for progressive campaigns and donated. I never understood the over 50 black loyalty to Democrat and defended any criticism. This is why many think that black votes are based on party affiliation and skin color. I understand having to vote for Kamala because of "only 2 choices," but defending is another. I didn't vote for Trump for the record. This is why we have to get out of mindset. We can change the system within the system, and we shouldn't accept the status que. I am proud to I am radical. I am very much inspired and emboldened by heroes like Maclomx, who warned us about liberal. He told us not to trust others based on skin tone.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. My intention with this video was to provide an encouraging and positive message to anyone who identifies as a Black Christian who may be feeling anger or anxiety about the election results. I understand that politics can be a sensitive topic, and I wanted to focus on a few key points: - God often uses individuals who may seem least deserving and are flawed or sinful. - There is no need to fear the future. - Now is a time for the Body of Christ to pray, fast, and seek God in preparation for what lies ahead. To clarify, this video is not specifically geared towards African-Americans. I intentionally used the term "Black" throughout the video to encompass individuals of African, Caribbean, and other Black diasporic backgrounds, including myself, my church, and many friends and associates. I deeply respect and value all groups, including African-Americans, and would never question anyone's intelligence. Race is a created social construct that has absolutely nothing to do with an individual’s intellectual capacity. Regarding my brief mention of some voters supporting Vice President Harris because she is Black, my comment was not condescending at all. I was sharing information as several people of color have shared they voted for her because they wanted to see a Black woman as president. I also referenced how some people of color choose to only support Black-owned businesses. I never stated that there were not other reasons individuals voted for her. She is obviously intelligent and highly qualified. It's a natural human desire to uplift and support those who share similar values or experiences, not a question of intellect or ability. I'm surprised you would assume that this has anything to do with intellect. Thank you again for engaging in this conversation-I truly appreciate the opportunity to clarify and discuss these important topics.

@@annmurr2671 Thank you for your comments. I put another reply to Dr. Judy that somehow has been deleted. My concern is AA being publicized as voting based on color not on making a clear intelligent decision. Also, we know that many things have been said by him that just aren't true and will lead to mixing church with State and forcing religious laws. People ignoring these signs is a cult mentality (Jonestown). This is bigger than the election.It involves one's salvation and ability to practice their religion freely. Lastly comments were encouraged and some of the comments (at least one response I made) were taken off. People should be free to express themselves when the expression involves education and not hate or disrespect. Thank you.

@@drjudymd You are absolutely wrong. God didn't choose trump the people wanted trump as their king. Read Samuel 6. Samuel went before God and declared the people wanted a king so God said if they want a king so be it. The king God placed before the people was King Saul which was the most evil king in all the land. The people couldn't bear the heavy burden Saul placed upon them then they cried for God to remove Saul. Sometimes God allows things to happen to bring his people back to him; this is what is happening. trump is not the will of God it is the will of the majority of ignorance in this country that wanted a king.
