Home made tools are sometimes better than purpose built production items. But, in other countries in the less fortunate countries, home made and improvised tools are all you can afford or have to work with

I had a similar tool made for me when I was 21-22 and used it to remove the cylinders from a forklift truck. 👍🏻

Терзают смутные сомнения. Возможно после такой выпресовки понадобиться блок фрезеровать.

A long time ago, most English engines were built this way. New liners and piston rings, away you go for another 200K miles. Then the manufacturers realised longevity meant no new car sales. Bear in mind in many cases this was on engines that often had no oil filters and oil changes were monthly or quarterly. In comes fantastic filtration of oil on engines, so people often don't change oil at all, and 50k miles later, need a new engine anyway.

🛑🛑🛑 Machinist here! This gentleman forgot the MOST IMPORTANT step! Youre SUPPOSED to remove the valve completely, and apply a LIBERAL coating of "lapping compound" to the valve stem. Spread it evenly up and down the length of the valve stem, then insert the valve into the guide. Then follow video instructions from that point forward! Your welcome!!!
