Kicker key 200.4 for the front channels is a game changer as well. I ended up getting the plugnplaykits.com with the kicker key 200.4 and 500.1 pre-made wiring harness.

@@leonardzeiler7417 for the PlastiDip I decided to leave it on because I know how easy it is to remove the over spray when you are done. If I was shooting Raptor liner or paint I would absolutely take the top off to avoid over spray.

@@JasonsFourCamFox I've heard the B&O is good. I wasn't as concerned with volume as I was with filling out the mid and low range for the music I listen to. It gets louder, but it is also a lot fuller of a listening experience now.

@@Drawn_to_Rebuild you're not the first one I've seen to say something about how bad the stock speakers are. Most people don't say it's stock, but I assume none of them have the B&O. Wife and I think it sounds great in our Broncos though. I still listen to FM stereo though, because I'm old...

Mine is a U14 and it is the original top that is with it. I had to replace the bulkhead because it was rotted out and fell apart when I was replacing the floors. I see them from time to time on classicbroncos.com or if you can make it to one of the super celebrations there is always someone there looking to sell one. Good luck with the hunt, the half cab is a very unique look and get a lot of attention.

I forgot to ask..is there a "heat resistance" difference between plasti-dip vs. Raptor-liner
@Drawn_to_Rebuild
@Drawn_to_Rebuild 2 ай бұрын
The dip isn't going to do anything other than the color being a bit more reflective, since it is the thickness of a balloon there is really no thermal barrier there. The raptor liner may give a bit because it is considerably thicker, but if you are specifically looking for a thermal barrier I would shoot lizard skin as a base coat or on the inside of the panels.
@BrentSmith-br9uq
@BrentSmith-br9uq 2 ай бұрын
When you're describing a dusting coat vs. a later thicker coat, is that determined by the length of time spraying the area or is it coat after coat of light dusting to build a thicker coat?
@Drawn_to_Rebuild
@Drawn_to_Rebuild 2 ай бұрын
So, a dust coat on the raptor liner is a final coat shot from higher up to try to get a smoother effect. You waste a ton of product but it can help smooth, or you can shoot the whole thing at a lower pressure. The dust coat on the PlastDip is the initial coat that is sprayed light and fast to get a light base before going on the heavier coats.

Is there an option to have the dashcam video play to the Bronco display screen for a "playback" review of a something you experienced on the trail or in traffic or do you have to remove the SD card and plug that into another device to relive the moment?

I think the mechanical advantage you’re looking for would have the rope anchored to the ceiling going through pulleys attached to the roof frame you built back up to the ceiling to new pulleys that feed towards where you’re going to secure it. Or something like that. Think pulley system on a cable machine
