Are there cooled seats? Did they add frunk? I read that in some countries the maximum charging power is now 110 kW, is this true? Weren't the Blade Battery 2 supposed to come out in early 2025? Is there any news?

Then I test drove the car in winter conditions, the result was disappointing, the four-wheel drive does not work, it is completely useless.

Can you do an indepth review on the infotainment - esp if the widgets can be changed to any other music streaming app than Spotify like Google Music for example. The translation quality. Persistance of settings between drives. Built in map accuracy vs Google maps. Multi finger gestures for climat control. Voice control in English to adjust various car functions. Walkthrough of updating the software. What Android applications can be installed directly on the infotainment unit - can we install google maps dorectly, maybe Waze if not Google Maps.

Can you talk about the fogging issues - a bunch of forums in Europe are complaining about that eso that the condensation gathers in the sensor cluster top of the windshield and disables them.

As a proud BYD Seal Excellence owner I can tell you wholeheartedly you will not get 320 miles range at all. Put it in high regenerative braking, eco mode, no AC or any gadgets in use, ranged not dynamic and you’ll be lucky to get 250. The absolute worst thing about the car is the constant warning noises for traffic lane and speed signs. You can’t turn them off, you have to do it every single time you start the car, if you park up and run into the shops you need to do it again. The parking sensors I can just about deal with but the constant beeping and warning sounds you get from this stuff is just so incredibly annoying and I would have not have gotten the car if I knew of it before.

Hi, I find I get a better range with our seal. Have you had any BYD service/after sales look into this? Also with the beeping a quick tip, if you just hold in the volume button on the steering wheel for 3 to 5 seconds it will turn off the noises.

Can you actually say what the mpg's are on the different engine specs as i can only find the combined est with using it EV only for most trips.

Hi, it's very difficult to put a figure on the actual MPG as so many things factor into it. The best would be the one in the middle the comfort as this has the largest battery giving you 78miles on EV mode and the standard engine 1.5l petrol with one motor. So if MPG is the key factor then I would point towards the comfort model.

I can't wait to see a night review to see how those headlights are looking as it relates to visibility on the road ( low beam versus high beam) and the beauty of the ambient lighting when the sun goes down is just remarkable.

Hi, there were 19,256 cars that set on fire in the UK in 2023. Of this 118 were electric cars. So if you do the maths you can see what is more lightly to set on fire. Also BYD use a blade lithium iron battery that is the safest in the world. The only battery not to catch fire with a nail directly pierced through it. Cheers.

Hi, Just via the BYD app you can start the car, heat/cool the car and you can also set up a schedule for the next day!

I will do, I’ll try get a video up in the week with how it is done. It does require a camera and cable fitted but I’ll do a video on how to do this 🙂 it’s not a simple task but a little time and it can be done by yourself 🙂
