Gotta hand it to Bryce Dallas Howard in this scene. You can see in Claire's face how much her view of the di osaurs changes through this one interaction. At the start she only saw them as profit and beasts. Here though you can she her realize how badly she messed up and what drives her creation for the resuce mission and sanctuary in the later films.
