1st things first-i love your cards. My fave was the Deckle edge. Next- love the video about the crabs. My only experience with hermit crabs was when 6 year old great nephew wanted some and his mom thought they should live at my house. LOL. One of them did actually change shells while they lived here.

Hi Katherine I just found your channel. You answered a question for me in a Facebook group. I think Diamond press. I loved your summertime stencils video and this one on shimmer paste. They are all very informative. I do have a question for the star stencil with the shimmer paste and spray, you said you used watercolor paper. What did that do for the card versus regular card stock. I’m not familiar with water color paper.

Hi there! Thanks for your question. I used Watercolor paper because after stenciling the star stencil with the shimmer paste I sprayed Distress spray over the dried stars. I wanted to see how the shimmer paste held up after applying a water based product. I used watercolor paper because it is made for water products such as the Distress spray, etc. It absorbs the liquid better than just regular card stock and doesn't warp like regular card stock does. It also looks a little different than regular card stock when it dries. But you can certainly use regular paper. It will eventually absorb into the fibers however it will most likely warp your paper which you can fix by putting underneath a book for a while and using a strong adhesive to attach to a card base. I also used watercolor paper with the left over shimmer paste so I didn't waste the extra paste I had that begins in 5:15 of the video. I like to use different papers to see how they work with mixed media products. I hope that helps! Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks!

Thank you for showing all that is included. QUESTIONS: #1 is there a Merry stamp to go with the Christmas stamp on that 2nd sheet? #2 are all the card bases A-2? No slimline included? Thank you.

Great questions! There isn’t a stamp with just the word Merry. There is a sentiment stamp that says “We wish you a merry” You could easily ink just the Merry and then pair it with the Christmas stamp. All the cards bases are A2 in size, 5.5 x 4.25 inches. There are no slimline card bases. Hope that helps!
