I'd say the most truly wild area left in the lower 48. Excellent video, was at Flathead lake area in 2021. Rockies and the Bitterroot range, en route to Seattle WA 👌

I followed along on my Gaia digital map. After spending a couple of weeks in the Absaroka and Beartooth Mountains a couple of years ago I was interested to see the proximity. I appreciate you sharing the details and although I'm not interested in hiking the ridges, I love visiting lakes and wandering plateaus.

Thank you for the objective review, I've watched five reviews now and no one other than you would be honest about the waterproofing capability. I need a comfortable shoe with a wide toe box that will withstand the occasional puddle and rainstorm during close to freezing conditions. What would you recommend?

I saw the complete documentary Figure It Out on The Hayduke Trail on Stash Movies. This video is truly amazing and phenomenal on so many levels. I'm blown away. You worked really hard to make this video. You did a number of difficult sections of the trail twice to capture the experiences. The images, commentary on your struggle, music, etc, etc, were top notch. The Hayduke Trail is no joke. My jaw dropped as I watched you deal with the challenges. This trail is very dangerous. I think it's potentially deadly. I've watched a lot of backpacking videos and this is one of the best backpacking videos I ever saw. Thanks for sharing and congratulations on this exceptional video.

The tooth off 212. Way easier than this so you can do more. Like go up Barronette Peak from ice box canyon. Up ridge. You can walk right out the ridge from fire tower in hours. End up right in middle of it. From first curve up fire tower road you can walk out to big meadow day hike. Same. I am an in out guy. Or one night out. Did my 45 days camping with infantry. No thanks. Human pack mule. 😅😢😂

I like big meadow from Fire Tower. Its huge muddy creek runs through it. Sleep on the north granite knobs. Also from pass ridge out to spirit mountain or up lake chain ⛓️ 🤔 It overlooks Gorge and 👣 👣 trail from above.

I have these. They aren’t close to waterproof I poured a little bit of water on the back of gloves and the water went right through between the fingers instantly. And snow sticks to the palms cause of the suede. And the battery doesn’t last close to the advertised hrs. Get 2 hrs at most on high about 4 on the lowest heat. Palms are also very thin. You can feel the cold right through if you’re holding something cold like a shovel. I have the second generation sabot heat gloves.

The battery life can get worse with more cold. How cold you usually use them in?

The Native Americans spirituality seems to be similar to ancient Eastern spirituality. So vital to our times. The belief that all are one and earth, wildlife vegetation are living beings....sacred. I wish good luck to the Apache people and commend you Amy and Alex for bringing these interviews to our knowledge.

This is literally exactly what I needed to hear & see! I have had my 2020 m1 MacBook Air for a bit but my dumba** bought it with 256 GB because i wasn’t thinking. So I was able to get a hold of a 2020 MacBook Pro with more storage AND more RAM but it wasn’t M1, it’s intel, so I was weary about whether it’d be up to par with the expectations my m1 air set. But this was super helpful !Thanks dude !!!!

@@fakolujoboluwatife3126 I have both now. I use the intel MacBook Pro with more storage for my storage-consuming video work and use the m1 macbook Air for less storage-consuming, every day work. ‘Tis the Apple way, I suppose.
@fakolujoboluwatife312610 ай бұрын
@@Jjusmaxx sorry just curious cause I’ve been using the 2017 MacBook Pro which was decent cause I just use it for coding so I’m thinking of upgrading now so I’m stuck deciding between the 2020 MacBook Pro with the touchbar and all intel or the m1 MacBook Air
@fakolujoboluwatife312610 ай бұрын
@@Jjusmaxx cause I was scrolling through Walmart I saw a MacBook Pro 2020 core i7 32ram and 512gb storage for around 750 and also the normal MacBook Air m1 256gb storage for 699 I’ve been thinking for like a week now for the one I should go for
@Jjusmaxx10 ай бұрын
@@fakolujoboluwatife3126 what I will tell you is that they’re both very similar, both very good computers, but there is a noticeable difference in the processing speed of the M1 versus the Intel. I love the touch bar on the pro and i think it’s crazy they don’t make them anymore. But the real answer is- if you need more storage for the same price and are willing to sacrifice a little bit of processing speed (i.e. time) then go for the Intel with more storage, as it will do what you need it to and is the better value for your money. Otherwise, the MacBook Air is also great but will have half the storage for the same price.

This series is absolutely amazing and CRIMINALLY under-viewed. You've inspired me to hike across the UP myself. I've been researching the maps and watching your videos of each section that you've done. I've gone to Craig Lake a handful of times and every time I see the north country trail markers I want to just drop everything and wander... Setting off in mid April to early May this year if everything goes correct with work. Hoping to beat the bug season, but I'll postpone and leftover sections till fall if I don't get started in time.
