As far as i know, hostel serves good quality of food, cleanliness is maintained at utmost priority, security is always there, electricity is 24X7. I guess your son is residing in Block-2(H) which is too old. Don't worry next year he'll be shifted to Block 2 or 3. TIA.

bhaiya i am going to join sjce mysore this year..and i am girl some people were telling it is strict in there and can't even bunk classes..is that true?

Yes, you heard it right. It's very strict in terms of education. You have to maintain atleast of 80% attendance and if not you will be directed to H. O. D. You have to be strict to class timings. Late comers are strictly not allowed. You have (3 written + 2 Mcq) or (all 5 written) exams before SEE (Semester End Exam). Overall, it's very rare that you get any sort of leniency. Best of luck.

@@kupammakesavalu3491 It completely depends on which company you are attending interview for. E.g Homelane which is situated in bangalore will ask its employees to come to bangalore to work and like so. Conclusion : You have to attend campus placements in your university only and while joining any company you have to relocate to their place. Hope you got answered.

For Civil Engineering stream, only 2 or 3 core companies do visit for placements which means Civil Branch is most affected. Rest of the branches goes smooth in placements.
