During the Big 12 tournament in Arlington, a foul ball ricocheted off a railing in the dugout and hit him the face to cause the double black eyes. He had a mild concussion and suspected broken nose. He was bleeding quite a bit.

That was a wild game. I'm glad we get a break today, but I think it's kinda crazy that we don't have more interviews like this from this season. It was a pretty wild season, and there were some pretty crazy endings that we could have talked about in a style like this beyond the post game interviews. I would have liked to hear things from the games that did not go our way as well.

Look guys, the Big12 is the best conference in terms of depth. It us the black and blue conference. You have a good coach and you have a great future. Patience. Reasonable fans should hipe to win half their games, go biwling every year and every once in awhile you'll have an exceptional season.
