What do you use to press in the connectors?

A two-way pneumatic cylinder (SDA 50x30) with a 5/2 way manual control valve (up/down) and a flow control valve (speed).

Hello. Is there any way to setup a cut bigger then the workarea in estlcam? Thats what a lot of us think of when we are talking about tiling. Thanx

I found a big difference when using loaded files that have the origin set to the centre instead of the lower left. When updating a CAD file the registration is all out wrong.

Can you please show us some details about your dust foot shown in this video. It looks very interesting and I am about to start designing one for my machine and maybe I can get some good ideas from yours.

Is this connection method robust for assembling a cabinet
@BayWoodcraft
@BayWoodcraft Жыл бұрын
My preferred connectors are dowels, MiniFix and Confirmat screws, but I still have/use cabinets I made with Rafix connectors over 20 years ago. While not particularly robust, Rafix connectors are adequate for stationary cabinets.

The general idea is not to wet/add moisture to the veneer.

What was this video about? Moving stop blocks and calipers I guess
@BayWoodcraft
@BayWoodcraft 7 жыл бұрын
The caliper body is at a fixed location, like a a drill press or chop saw would be. The video shows how a stop can easily be set a precise distance from a bit or blade (no DRO required). While the example increments are 32mm and 1mm per turn, they could just as easily be 1" and 1/32" per turn.

That is quite the Glue-up looks like it was rock solid. id love a video about your frame press you talk about on your website. I'm trying to come up with my own design. with a way to fold frame in half and be able to use it as a vacuum bag as well ( for lager wood bending projects). bit.ly/22DwlQ6 any ideas? i'm using a silicone membrane, it should seal well against itself and melamine.

sorry to bother, but brass or wood dowels? Thanks again for the response back, great jig!
@BayWoodcraft
@BayWoodcraft 9 жыл бұрын
I'd use metal (brass or plated steel), e.g. www.google.com/search?q=Hafele+282.41.705, wood would have too much friction. Both answers were/are on the 'more info' page'.

and did you use brass dowels or wood?

I have found the link can you tell me how the dowels come back out of the hardwood? Are they spring loaded, or do you have to manually push them back out from the back side? Thanks again for one of the coolest jigs I've seen in awhile!
@BayWoodcraft
@BayWoodcraft 9 жыл бұрын
Yes, you have to manually push them back out from the back side. Using a board you can push them all out at once.

Or you can just use sandpaper and a medium hard brush.

The general idea is not to push tape/glue residue into the grain or open the grain pores.
