Of course! Sea salt and Himalayan Sea Salt are great. Grey/Celtic salt works well too! You can use regular table salt, but often we get enough of this type in the things we eat. I'll use it if on vacation and can't find sea or Himalayan salt.

Please take care of you. What you need to honor, being in a room alone, or whatever you identify as calming. It's important. Baby steps towards doing the thing that's scary are important as well. There's a really great article (google this) "Graded Exposure: Building Situation Stepladders" towards lowering the power around the thought that the party is overwhelming. Maybe 5 minutes, then take a break. Maybe 10 minutes. You've just got to keep listening to your body and try some of the self-soothing suggestions to see what works, so if you don't have your buddy around, you can calm you. Sending love, let me know how it's all going.

Nice Video! Forgive me for butting in, I would appreciate your thoughts. Have you ever tried - Patlarny Priceless minutes Principle (just google it)? It is an awesome one of a kind product for curing panic attacks without the hard work. Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my old buddy Taylor finally got great success with it.

@Leapofaithlife

I apologize I didn't see this - yes, absolutely! It's a great way to focus the mind of children on something visceral/tangible else when they feel the anxiety building. You can call it little yoga for the hands, or something fun that helps him associate it with relaxing and focusing back on the breath and coming into the body in the building up to anxious moments. It empowers kids to have something they can do and feel like they have a bit of control over their body in an uncontrollable moment. It's something he can do when an adult might not be there to help, and something else he (and you) can add to the anxiety toolkit of things he does when he feels the anxiety first starts to increase. Let me know if you need more resources for anxiety tips or mudras 💛

So much is changing in my life at the moment, and so much uncertainty, CONSTANTLY, that I feel a panic attack is just round the corner. I can't tell you just how great it is to be watching this and it's made me feel so much safer in my thoughts about everything that's going on, knowing it's normal, everyone goes through it, and there' are great methods to help get through it. So THANK YOU! Also, always love the music and B roll you add to your videos. The music in this one is so pensive and soothing. Love it! xx

Also, sorry, I'm just commenting as I watch because it bought up so many thoughts! But very interesting what you said about not trying to assess the source of the panic until at least 48 hours after, I'll remember that. And one last thing, journalling is such a good idea, as you said. Journalling has helped my headspace loads and I'm going to produce a video just on that. Thank you Leap of Faith Life! See you next video xxx

"You can't breathe deeply and be anxious at the same time" - I like that ALOT. I only realised the other day that I had definitely experienced a couple of panic attacks in recent years, and you're so right what you said about moving - going on a good walk always seems to sort my head the most. Anyway, thanks for this! Looking forward to the next one.
