Beware if you are a phantom 4 Pro 2.0 owner. Do not update the firmware because it will prevent you from flying if you don't have an internet connection to connect to the uuid.

Registered... FAA... Legal... Bunch of bullshit words that don't need to be related to drones. If you paid for the drone, you can use the drone. Nobody gives a shit if a small piece of plastic falls out of the sky and very very rarely onto you. This is just the governments way of making money from literally anything and i dont support that. Also if someone tries to do anything to me bc my drone isnt "legal", i am throwing hands.

Basicaly the flying over people, in most cases was illegal. This drone has to be so safe that the unknown people won't have fear from it, so it can be legal. It needs for this to be super light and super protective. And maybe semi-intellingent.

My Neo is not legal to fly in the house. My family plays a game called kamikaze yeah exactly what it sounds like so I gave them a frisbee and I said do whatever you want with it immediately got them hurt so I gave them a tennis ball and a bat immediately somebody got hurt now kamikaze is The game they chose instead I’m gonna call the FDA on them 😅

It's strange that the Flip has the same wind rating as the Mini 4 pro, because it's much worse in the wind. I don't want to tell you "I told you so" because that would be immature and petty, right? 😜 It's just not the drone for your use case.

Why you would do that, it’s a very impressie drone with a perfect price vs quality. The camera is on par with the Mini 4 Pro and the wind resistance comes close to the Mini 4 pro. See the test of GAVINHR👍For me it’s the perfect versatile drone for indoor flying and some tracking when needed. Also for use as backup drone for my Mini 4 Pro! My first own flight experience was also great 😀Greetings from 🇳🇱

@@gekoldronevideos it's a cool little drone for sure, but for me I have others that are very comparable. And the gimbal is stuck so there's that. Maybe one day I'll pick one up again who knows. For now I don't need or want it....it proved to be far more frustrating always a struggling in the winds here. As I said I don't hate it...and has some positives just not enough for me to hang onto it. Happy flying always! 😊

@ I had a prop installation error message pop on with them so who knows. They definitely suck will never use them again other than for one more video on flying with them and how much they affect the drone. Returning Flip too just don't need it. It's kind of cool for flying a drone that looks so much different than a drone to many that's kind of a cool thing in my opinion...people not freaking out about something is huge in my book.

Does the flip broadcast remote id? If not then wouldn't you have to purchase remote ID which would make over 250 grams?

@@rivesphoto so just testing this out now. It doesn't seem to have anything remote ID module being broadcast so what I'm thinking is we would need to buy a module for it but being over 250 g isn't an issue because you're gonna need to get the FAA waiver anyway which will allow you to fly over people regardless of the weight. You just need to do what they say...have waiver...have strobe and prop guards and be remote ID compliant. It's very confusing.

So both Mini 4 Pro and Flip need waivers I believe to fly over people...it's very confusing if you know more she's some light. Category 1: needs to be under 250g, have laceration protection and broadcast RID. Cat 1 can fly over people without needing a waiver. If adding stuff like prop guards, a rid module etc pushes it over 250g them you need to do a waiver and need to follow all the rules in the waiver.

@@FZDRONES yes but with the waiver apparently that doesn't matter and the odd thing I found out is that to have remote ID work on the Mini 4 Pro you need to be over 249g with the larger capacity battery. It's very confusing honestly.

@@trace6054 🤣 yup that DJI Power 500 was in my car honestly it works great for that I did a whole day of shooting with only 1 battery pretty awesome! I bought mine too off Amazon they didn't give it to me or anything so honest endorsement.
