I knew cliffie stone when I was young growing up in what they now call Canyon Country near Los Angeles California. I attended high school with his son Curtis at William S. Hart high school in Newhall California. His son Curtis formed a Band in high school but was never as successful as his father, but he really seem to enjoy music! Thank you bebop capital for letting me relive a little bit of my past!

Sacré document...merci..j'avais vu Vince dans un Cinéma de quartier a Vigneux sur seine..un peu avant qu'il passe au Bataclan en 1973...accompagné par le groupe le Poing et mark Robson..concert fantastique de part la forme de Vince..du choix des chansons..et du public d'anciens blousons noirs...je ne l'ai jamais revu avec cette peche et son jeu de scene comme ce soir la....

depuis 1969 que je suis Vince...premiere fois que j'entend cette version...merci!..

Just to set the record straight, Bill was just part of the Down Homers . . .it was not his band. The Down Homers was started by Shorty Cook (2nd from left) and Guy Campbell(with fiddle) Bill was hired as a replacement for Kenny Roberts while Kenny was gone(might have been in the service)
