Awesome job man! You got a sub from me now. Just a quick question, How do I make those small smoke particles disappear smoothly? It somewhat too fast and gives a weird effect at the end.
@RenderRebels4 күн бұрын
Hi thanks for the sub bro you can do it with lifetime giving a smooth fall off like from 100 to 0 gradient transparency I think I explained it in previous niagara fluids videos but I am going to create more on this niagara series i will explain it in those

what exactly error you are facing have you added displacement command in .ini file
@andreasiano595311 күн бұрын
@@RenderRebels I actually did but I realized that the textures that come with megascan material is an orm texture, not a ordp. Ordp is supposed to have those displacement data that orm doesn't have. I guess this is why it isn't working. Materials come along with 4 textures from megascans B N H and ORM, not ORDP textures. in this case there is no displacement data on them.

I am working with a texture constraint on the cloner and I have the problem, that when I add an effector, the effoctor only affects the whole Cloner as one object, instead of each single mesh. What can I do? When I check other tutorials no one seems to have that issue

Does niagara system and other systems work without internet in unreal engine?

Yes it does work you can directly open your unreal file as well if you don't want to use epic game launcher it does require to sign in like every 3 or 4 weeks. But you can work without internet connection

For Lumen Interior scene just add HDRI both as backdrop and in Skylight cubemap to get real shadows within the interior scene.

Also you can add rec lights to boost the indirect lighting of lumen by increasing indirect lighting bounces in light setup have a video on interior as well

The tip about Render overrides is just amazing, I was looking for copper and found gold! Does this work for the recorded cache or only for the simulation? Let's say I apply this setting and write the simulation cache, will the cache be written at 400 or 250 resolution?

Hi glad you liked it. If you do 400 in render override quality and do simulation cache it will write in 400 only.

@@RenderRebels Yes, this is exactly what I've been looking for for so long! Can you give me a solution to another problem? Is there a way to make these effects affected by volumetric fog? I am forced to use the console command r.HeterogeneousVolumes.MaxTraceDistance 50000000 to make the effect appear at a greater distance, but have noticed that fog or any other effect in the foreground has no effect on Niagara fluids. These effects do not lose clarity, are not blurred or are in any way distorted by smoke or fog at a great distance, which makes them stand out from the environment. Is there a way to solve this problem?
