This is why I hate delusional Barcelona fans. Pedri has not done any of this not even remotely close to this. Pedri has no pace, no spark in his play, no crazy association, no unbelievable passes (when has Padre done this? @2:30). He makes one decent pass and is silky in his movement and they immediately say the NEW INIESTA. Talk about having a low bar.

I could be wrong but I think some of these clips do not include Iniesta but instead mistake Giuly and Deco for him. Still really fun to watch! What a team back then. That was a golden era. Iniesta’s quick, silky-smooth, right-to-left touch to evade tackling defenders was mind boggling.

I'm 34 years old and for me 2006-2012 was prime football. Football last years became more 'mechanic' like stars as Bellingham. But real talents like Xavi, Iniesta, Sneijder, Van der Vaart, those real '8' and '10' are almost gone. Barcelona in those years was unbelievable. Dominating games like no other team ever did. But also Bayern with Robben and Ribery, Inter with Sneijder, Zanetti, Milito and Eto'o.. Those teams were so unbelievable good. I can only imagine how good our Dutch national team would've been if the defenders from this time we're in the team with Sneijder, Van der Vaart, Robben, Van Persie, Huntelaar, etc.

2009 was Xavi's prime in terms of numbers and performance. Imagine a central midfielder who has 31 assists and 10 goals with a total of 41 goal contributions, the best midfielder in la liga, the best midfielder in uefa champions league and the best playmaker in the world. Just imagine it.
