Hi thanks for your kind words. I originally learned this version on acoustic guitar in the key of G and transferred it to banjo. It's my own interpretation of the tune. All the best 👍

Why are you comparing a mahogany guitar to a rosewood guitar? Completely different overtones. It's just going to turn into whether someone likes rosewood or mahogany more. And rosewood is the chimier, prettier sound. Another thing is that the recording king wasn't quite in tune

Doesn't the recording king use the old Martin forward bracing? It's not a copy the same mahogany guitar Martin is putting out now. Much more similar to a much older man... Including the top wood.

The Recording King is a great guitar for the money. I've sanded the thick gloss finish off the top and it's sounding better still now. The top is Adirondack spruce.

I almost bought one of these! fantastic guitar but honestly the one I played didnt have the twang I was looking for, was rather full and robust for a parlor which is amazing but not quite what I wanted. Great playin as well brotha!
