If you have 3 kids in the middle you can have the child in the 3rd row (provided you have one only) in the booster climb through the trunk and get into their seat. Much easier than uninstalling and reinstalling a car seat every time

I own 2020 Sportage and to be honest it's not as spacious as we were thinking. We are both quite tall - 193cm and 178cm, before baby this car was mooore than enough for two of us, but with newborn behind us - not so good. Cybex cloud t in dedicated base can barely fit behind wife's seat, next baby seats are even bigger so I'm kinda worried

Do you think the subcompact is a bad idea for a family of 4-5? Thinking of getting one of these versus the standard rav/crv, which are overpriced right now IMO. The electric XC40 especially seems like a great deal right now. Just wondering if I'd be signing up for more seat kicking and not enough room for baby gear.

We got exactly the same color and model of Tank300 as this video as our baby carrier. It does a good job around the town. We often take our little one for a light offroad drive on the beach, and she loves it.

Why you buy an off-roader for baby?

Please can you put out reviews of cars Australian families can actually afford. I appreciate how thorough you are in regards to having kids in a car, as no other car channel has that, but I dont know a single other young family can even afford a new mg, let alone a lotus. Put out reviews on realistic cars like 2nd and 3rd gen crvs, odyssey’s, avensis, rav4’s, outbacks etc. especially since most families are relegated to $10’000 or less for buying a car.

Great review, do you think the car would be able to fit two rear facing baby seats and one front facing? I currently have this set up in my Jeep grand Cherokee and am looking to buy a tank 300 (front facing in centre, both side seats rear facing)

Great review 🎉, any known vehicles with a similar large backseats ? It’s very important for me the easy installation and easy fitting of 3 child seats in the back, love the c5 Aircross but couldn’t find any good ones around me with a reasonable price, so I’m starting to think for alternatives, don’t want to drive vans or mini vans that’s why c5 Aircross was the perfect car for me, don’t know any other car that provides this comfort backseats space

Listing the versatile folding booster as a seat is somewhat misleading. It’s really not a full time seat - it’s hard plastic and not the safest seat for the age limits it takes. For cars like this, it’d be better if you said the honest truth which is that it will fit two compact car seats.

Nice review. The Tank 300 sits in a unique position, it has very impressive off road capabilities but still very comfortable to drive for daily driving. Vehicles like the Wrangler and Prado are no doubt good 4x4s but on normal roads they are not that great to drive, which is 90% of what people do. Given the price point the Tank offers great value.
