I suggest bringing a small pair of binoculars in case your seats are not the best. Also bring ear plugs to protect your hearing if the concert is too loud.

Sometimes yeah. I went to a lot of concerts like Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, Prince, Jessie J etc... I always queud from 4-5 am and always got front row 😊 but I am a fast runner as well so if you wait very early and you're not a good runner, you might not always be on the front row 😊
