Wow - what a pound! Precision! My humble question: is this a 4/4 time/beat?
@MikaFastfinger2 күн бұрын
Thanks! The chorus is 4/4. But most of the tune goes 7/4. If you start counting from the beginning of the riff 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 you'll get it. However there are some hits (right before the verse melody starts and a few times during the verse) where the whole band plays "TAT-TAA", those bars are 8/4 (one extra beat in addition to 7/4). That's it, I think.

Excellent!!! Kotzen is an absolute beast! His columns on Guitar World and all the stuff, i iused to work on all those arpeggios quite a bit early 90’s.

Tubeman is damn good! This piece of gear has not been used here for a while. Been working with a killer 90’s jackson preamp lately. (maybe you saw one of my latest videos). Need to compare these two soon.

Well that was unexpected with the "Diet Frog"....I LOVE that X-Lock system, I'm a sucker for adding weight to the trem and claw, and I have an ESP with a Floyd and a Tremol-No that I can switch between float, hard, and dive only. All but one of my guitars are floating...I have a Solar baritone with an Evertune. Gotta have the trem bar!!! Anyway, I have a Tone Claw locking claw on my JP6. a Vega VT1 bridge and L Guitar Claw Loc Resonator on my 75th Anniversary USA Strat...that extra mass through rhe bridge really helps with resonance...the Evertune is also very resonant...and it definitely makes a huge difference like you said. anyway, take care bro.
@MikaFastfinger6 күн бұрын
🙌 Sounds like you got some experience with the tremolo locking devices! Good stuff. Thanks for sharing! X-Lok is definetly a working solution for me.

I let this run through like 7 times...I always like your playing. What guitar is the green Super Strat with the candy cane trem bar? Your number 1, 2, 3, and 4 all in one...lol. It reminds me of an old pair of jeans which has been worn and broken in for decades...except in guitar form...lol. It sucks, I can't play at the moment, my ring finger and pinky have some kind of tingly thing and I have like no control...its been like that for a few weeks and its very depressing. Stoopid left hand...GET BETTER NOW!!!!

Major pentatonic removes 4 and 7. Balinese major scale removes 2 and 6. Minor pentatonic removes 2 and 6. Hirajoshi minor scale removes 4 and 7. 3 and 5 stay the same as they form the basic triad. Those scales are inverted mirror images of each other. Pentatonic has african roots. Hirajoshi is japanese and Bali is in asia too. Isn't that neat?
