They are NOT craftsmen, why would you put two steel objects that exist in the outdoors on wet or dusty roads and not paint a protective coating on them prior to assembly? Cheap, nasty rubbish work by the owner of the company involved. There's no weld preparation, no cleaning of joints to be welded, no cleaning away of surface rust, no chamfering weld joints to ensure complete penetration and many more shortcuts, a lot of which are safety concerns especially when massive overloading of these vehicles is the norm.
