My hair looks like yours, and I get the struggle! I had people telling me with a straight face that my hair was type 2B, and, honestly? Never seen an actual 2B create curls/spirals. Btw all hairs are beautiful, it just sucks to be misunderstood

"They say we're lying." *Looks at mix of 2a, 2b, 2c, and 3a 1. If I was gonna lie I'd say I had 3b because it's gorgeous. 2. How am I going to fake this mess??

I lived my entire life with 2A/B hair that held a curl really well. Then I have a baby whose dolly-like curls (3B/C) could be seen inutero and POOF! My curl pattern shifts to 3A/B. No one tells you how pregnancy can change even the texture of your hair!

I hate my curly hair journey bc when I was a baby, I had the cutest most adorable ringlets ever, and it was short so it was like a mini Afro, now I have heat damage, permanently greasy hair😩😩😩

Modern young females are so fake and narcissists that when they have something attractive to other people, they become an expert on nothing and are actually famous for nothing. Pretty sure this one is the whole day fixing her frizz

The thing is😂 on the day I wash and plop and do all that, my hair has lovely 1+ inch loose curls(like you'd get with a big curling iron) and by the evening it's just a few bits of curls at the bottom and s shaped hair on the top. Now I have no idea if that's just my hair type or I'm doing CGM wrong but....I guess I'll classify myself as 2A

I absolutely LOVE this brand. the gel is my main product for styling. I use the rizos curls and then a touch of a curl talk gel. The rizos curls work WONDERS for my very short curly hair.

Today is the day I found out I have 2a hair, and not straight hair like most of my family

That's funny how you talk bout your curls because 30 years of my life i didn't know i had curls or waves. When i was with my one bf we didn't have ac n the humidity made my hair wavy one summer. I decided to mess with it n while it was damp i scrunched it n got full curls fully wrapped around but not curling up as much as yours slightly looser. But if you seen me on the streets now or at a store youd never know because it looks fully straight in a ponytail unless i do something about it. That's why i came on here to find someone with my curl type, but first i had to find out what my curl type was. Idike to have curls but not have sticky products in my hair n i need help. I also think oils feel dirty so i don't want that either. Here to learn whatever it may be.

So helpful! My hair looked so good when I was finger coiling, but I didn't really separate them...I should've lol. This is super helpful for my bangs because I've just been straightening them instead of trying to work with them.
