Great to see you back and looking forward to your 3S coverage! I have the 3 and still have my 2 for when friends/family are over but glad there's another option to bring more people into VR. I would say that I prefer the Bobo S3 Pro halo strap more than the Kiwi Elite strap that's on my Quest 2 though. The hot swappable batteries also mean effectively unlimited battery life.

The Quest 2 and the Quest 3 had a baby, and they named it 3S. I have the Kiwi strap on my Quest 3 also. I haven't tried them all, but it's definitely the best I've used.

Did Aubika give you the old prototype model to test/review?.... i bought them and its said they fixed the grip buttong getting stuck issue. Ive used them for a couple weeks and the button has never gotten stuck

Hey I know you’re not that into doing VR videos as much as you used to, but have you thought of covering a gun stock? The quest 3s will prob be announced at the Connect event shortly, and based on their history it’ll prob be released in October which will bring more people to the platform. With the season 1 update for Contractors Showdown having recently been released, and it’s a very popular shooter, it might be a good hook.

Hey there. I actually had a gun stock sent way back but I never had chance to cover it. I've been thinking I finally will. I'm also being sent some haptic pistol attachments so I'll be making a video on them too. Thanks for the tip on Contractors I haven't played it in ages but I'll use that for the videos 👍

Does it work on cod mobile, I bought myself a similar one for my pixel fold and it supported game pass but cod don't recognise it as a controller.

Latency on bluetooth is much worse than the USB C connection - added to the streaming latency of Gamepass etc, it makes it a nightmare to use...

I have this and there isn't any lag through Bluetooth, I've always played with Playstation/ Xbox controllers via Bluetooth and never had issues. Same applies with this controller, no latency issues

Welcome back (Although I watched the drone video so belated welcome back ;) ) I found the rechargable USB batteries to not hold a good enough charge, but those look cool, especially with the charging indicator at the bottom.

Thanks very much! I've been using rechargeable usb batteries for a while now. The ones I got with the original charge kit years ago are still going and last well but some purple ones I got from Amazon don't seem to be as good despite an apparently larger capacity.

If you're comfortable with the magnetic charge cables, that would probably make those controllers even more convenient. I've seen folk make stands with the power side embedded so they just drop the controller on (for older things, like the Knuckles or the quest headsets)

Yeah TBF the video I talked about was actually the magnetic ones but they didn't have grips. I'm sure someone released a dock recently that works with grips too.

I bought the iX4 secondhand. iscooterglobal refused to provide any support (just help information, not a warranty claim) without the original invoice number. They claim to need this but if that was the case the scooters would have serial numbers. In short there is bugger all aftersales support.

It's not really "like" VR, but flying FPV is really good for training your body against motion sickness. I did experience some motion sickness when I first started flying FPV, but unlike VR when you're in the headset for hours, the flights are generally pretty short, so its a lot easier to take breaks. I started flying FPV a few years before I got into VR, and when I started VR I never really had any trouble with motion sickness at all. BTW, you asked, so... No interest in mobile gaming whatsoever.

Since the screen and field of view is so small what would you say the advantage to having goggles is over having a screen? On the Emax kit the screen is literally the screen in the goggles. I'm still in two minds about mobile gaming. I think it's because I convinced myself I'd do it to make me feel better about buying the Rog Ally 😂

@@VRCauldron Yeah that's really just a type of FPV headset. The screen based headsets are generally cheaper and the goggles with the lenses are more high end. The advantages are generally form factor, comfort, clarity, and less eyestrain (at least for me.) If you're comparing it to using a screen like say with a DJI drone, it's pretty much the same as comparing playing a game flat screen vs. playing in VR. You can do it, and it's fun, but it doesn't give you the feeling of actually flying.

i got this CABLE! and it NEVER WORKED! ONLY CHARGES WHILE HEADSET IS OFF! AND WHILE ON IT ONLY CHARGES FOR ABOUT 5 SECONDS THEN TURNS OFF! ID AVOID THIS CABLE

Any idea why VR Cover doesn't have their own interface option for the Quest 3? It looks like they only have covers for the stock interface padding. I like the ventilation of their fitness interface.

I got this AMVR just for the cost of shipping and imports on their products.... VR cover quest 2 facepads fits this well enough and has ventilation, but are too expensive for me in the EU

I just bought the Quest 3 on sale, and I was looking to get the VR Cover fitness facial interface like I had on my Quest 2. It looks like VR Cover isn't supporting the Q3 like they did with the Q2. Are they no longer supporting Quest products? Is there an alternative facial interface similar to the Q2 fitness interface? The extra airflow made VR much more enjoyable for me.

I loved it thanks. I have it on my desktop, but the moonlight, sunshine is way better and superior. Do you think you can upload a tutorial with this in mind. It would be the sunshine client on the SD and the moonlight apk on the Quest 3. I’d do it myself, but on my computer is way easier because I use an Nvidia GPU. Thanks again
