I used to take him to the Jimmy Copeland show so he could play because he didn't have a drivers license.

Fred had more knowledge of steel, than anyone I have ever known. Bought my first Justice, and gained a friend at the same time. Now I'm on my 3rd one. He was one of a kind, loved the steel guitar, and loved the Lord. I've been truly blessed to have had him, Brenda, and his family in my life. rest in peace my dear old friend!!

Yes, it's good to put your picks on for a 'finger & thumbpicks #2" video. And an example or two would have been nice. I'd like to see a new version of this video as this one is blurry. Thanks. P.S. Where is the #1 finger/thumbpick video?

Thank you, this was really helpful! I'm just learning lap steel, and have tiny hands, so I'm having a bit of trouble with blocking. Using my ring finger helps a lot - thank you! Unrelated: I grew up in southwest Missouri. It's lovely seeing locals, from a distance on the web!

they do, indeed! I am trying to have more information about models and prizes. It looks like they make both lap and console laps! My ideal instrument would be an 8strings console lap C6))
