They didn’t get rid of Marco! Marco walked of his own volition. Very different circumstances. But I’m seeing them for the first time soon on their current tour and my heart hurts that I’ll never get to experience him with them live. He became such a core part of that sound but he held his power when he left. I don’t think there was animosity between them when he left he didn’t like the business aspect of it anymore it felt like a raw deal and he couldn’t stomach it, after reading his letter can’t say I blame him. Saying they got rid of him is fundamentally not true.

LOL this book was approved by Tuomas. you've only heard one side of the story. She is not a diva, not greedy, she is a victim. She was defenseless. they would never be able to do this to Floor cause she will sue them for everything they've got.

They booked concerts and Tarja wanted only the big festivals not the gigs in small theaters and of course more money.. This is a fact that everyone knows that happened those years while Tarja was the Vocalist.. Tuomas was the last guy wanted to fire Tarja... He did so patience but it was one way to go on... She needed to kick out.. With Anette happened exact the same thing but she wasn't so famous and the fact was forgotten... There's no reason to continue the story with people who cares only for money.. (A fact that proves the difference between Tuomas.. When they release the Imaginaerum album and the movie Tuomas gave anythimg he has, and talk about money except of creativity, to complete the movie) Floor is what they need because they swim in the same waters, they have the same taste in music also the same vision. That's the truth... And i know it hurts...

@@Silisavnw The truth does hurt. When you see the full picture. "I never believed that Tarja was a horrible diva. Her behavior over the years does not at all reflect that. There are even videos fans have posted on KZbin full of clips and photos of her acting kind toward fans - the complete opposite of a terrible, narcissistic diva. And every other artist she has worked with (The Scorpions, Doro Pesch, Sharon den Adel, Chrstina Scabbia, etc.) have all said that she is wonderful to be around. Tuomas and the guys were known for living a very rock star life and partying, drinking, etc. on a frequent basis (Tuomas is literally drunk or passed out in half of the videos you see of him from the Tarja era!) and I think that their lifestyle rubbed Tarja the wrong way terribly, especially when her mom was really sick and died (her mom died in 2003, I think... Tarja was only in her early 20's, which is an incredibly scary age to lose your mom) and I think that she gravitated towards Marcelo a lot because he was there for her through all that and was the only one who actually helped her during the infamous Guadalajara incident in 2001 in Mexico when she was sexually assaulted. I will say this though: Tuomas did not provide a single shred of evidence that Tarja was a monstrous diva hell-bent on having her way all the time. Everyone just accepted his accusations about her without question. That is not how due-process works. Accusations without evidence are merely accusations. And if people are going to take seriously what tuomas said, than they should also take seriously what Marcelo and Tarja had to say about Tuomas in their responses. In his response letter, Marcelo directly accused Tuomas of lusting after Tarja and acting creepy towards her and Tarja also seemed to imply this in her song "Enough" from the deluxe edition of My Winter Storm. Enough is a song that it known to be about Tuomas and wasn't even released until after Tuomas milked Tarja's dismissal for every dollar it was worth by making Bye Bye Beautiful a single. Why did everyone want to believe Tuomas, but not Tarja and Marcelo? There are two sides to every story. And after how Anette was treated and Tuomas did NOTHING to stop the fans from being abusive towards her and then he fired her, we should all be questioning if the accusations he made against Tarja and Marcelo were even true because the way that he treated Anette was terrible."

The fact that Tarja wanted more money and canceled concerts because they didn't have enough people (therefore no money) is something that has been known by the managers who closed the Nightwish concerts. Since she herself was not having a good time in the band, she could leave whenever she wanted. He didn't because he was taking advantage of the great music Tuomas was writing for her and the band's recognition. She also thought that Nightwish would disband without her. Based on history Nightwish had a better future with Anette and even better with Floor Nobody says that Tarja was not a good singer even Tuomas right after the open letter said the best about her singing and performance. But her general behavior didn't fit with the band. Maybe she's a nice human and i believe that but the chemistry between her and the band didn't exist. And I believe that the two sides was not ever innocent, the band and the singer both of them had make mistakes. But i can understand why they acting like that. When she said "I don't need Nightwish ANYMORE.” and ”Remember, Tuomas, that I could leave this band at any time, giving you only one day's warning in advance"... While they planned everything about based with her own plans.. I can't say that the open letter was a good decision from them but she and her husband didn't left any area for conversation. So here we are now.. Maybe she isn't a greedy person but in that situation she acted very bad. You have to think about only that when she cancelled some of the shows ther were many people with families that loses their money... And all of that done because of the against between her and the band that make her one of the most popular singers in metal scene... That was the greedy thing.
