Hey there! Love the look at 10:33 . What did you use for that base? Or if it's natural, what would you use to get that color?

I know I'm late to this part so getting a response probably won't happen. What an amazing video! I wish you could do my hair !! went to a salon yesterday to have a toner gloss put on my gray blended yellowish highlighted hair. goldwell 10BP was used and left on for almost 20 mins..... my highlights are barely noticable now and I'm a little to ashy. what can I do to get this color out as quick as possible and retone with either shades EQ or goldwell.?

About to try the 9gi for the first time and I’m hype! I have it to add to 9v but I also have 9t. Might skip the 9t in there tho. Love the freedom that shades eq gives.

Hey I have a question...I have an expensive wig that is too ashy for me that I want to warm up some. It is a Gardeaux wig...one of their ashier ones. Its a level 9 at least, Im sure...which shades eq should I add and how would you do it? Would you go all over? I LOVE what you did to the girl at the 2 minute mark...I bet that was hard. It looks intense. It is gorgeous! Omg and at 9;29 that is incredible

Hi! I switch over to shades and while it looks amazing walking out the door it fades after two to three washes. Can you help me with why?

This was so helpful! I’m still struggling with shades. I’ve been trying to get the ashy but slightly golden level 7/8 natural root color without it depositing too dark or too ashy. Like Jasmine Sanders root color for reference. The struggle is real 😩
@almostgarbage1892 жыл бұрын
Why are the " natural tones" the most damn complicated to formulate and actually achieve?!😭 I'm in same struggle boat. Just spent all day looking up how to get the same exact shade that you are describing

Colorance 10V is my all time FAVE - however have in mind all Goldwell Colorance wash out in 1-2 washes! But Redken Shades last long time !!!
@blondetruther2 жыл бұрын
I am a little surprised at what you said about the Colorance not lasting as it is supposed to be a 'demi-permanent' and is supposed to last longer than the Redkin Shades EQ. I tried the Colorance 10P as a toner last week - but didn't have the Colorance developer so used a 10 volume developer - and it washed out as you say in 2 washes - but I assumed it was because I didn't use their developer. Now I am thinking that what you say could just be the case whether you use their developer or not.

It could be that you need a protein filler so the color has something to stick to. Goldwell makes a good one . After you have washed your hair spray your hair with the protein filler then color your hair. Also, be sure to use a sulfate free shampoo.

Blondes beware - Sally’s has a new generic redkin shades line.my hair is bleached to level 10’( it took me 3 weeks ) the swatch for the 9v is a light ash blonde .I used it alone with the appropriate developer, followed instructions - MY hair came out dark brown purple. If you’ve ever used ion purple additive it’s like using that on its own . If I was going for dark brown this would be amazing but I was not - I was going for a nice all over 9v color. FYI :(

Soooo I kinda toned my hair too much, too grey... what would you recommend to get that whiter look? Can I tone again or do I wait? I doubt you'll see this but worth asking...
@soccermommyNPC3 жыл бұрын
Don’t tone it again! That would saturate it even more. It should wash out a bit by the end of the week and leave you with white if you lightened it to level 10 first.
@lionessofel32032 жыл бұрын
Dawn dish soap a few times. Chelate your hair. It will fade. If you cannot get it to lift do a bleach bath with 10vol developer for about 5 to 10 minutes and it will lift out. Then retone if required.

Do toners only effect the level they are directed to help? For example can I have a toner and mix like a 6 for my root and a 9 for my ends and just apply it to my whole head or should I apply the 6 to my root rinse and then do the 9? I just never understood if I could mix all the toners together.
@kimmycoco-505182 жыл бұрын
I would do your roots first and then rinse out with cold water and conditioner. Then tone your hair 2nd.
