that Game cube music list was a bit underwhelming in my opinion. the musics lost a lot of their charm without the hardware limits. It sounds more like film music, big orchestras, no more 30 seconds catchy loops, they take themselves seriously too somehow, it feels less emancipated.

Here's a little trivia. Did you know that this is one of the few games to ever have NEGITIVE sales in a month? In the US, apparently uptight parents found out that the demon on front isn't an enemy, it's the hero, and being the god-fearing Christian nation it was that was, and being right stuck in the middle of the end of the Satanic Panic and the start of "VIDER GARMS CAUSE THE KID VIOLENTS" era, it wasn't about to have little Billy play as SATAN. Didn't have really great sales to begin with, so the second month it was out in the US, it actually had more units returned then sold. An ignoble fate for such a great game.

I'm now back in 1999. I'm eating at the table while hearing this song play on repeat because I have it paused in the middle of a game on this map. I'm also mad at the CPU peach in the party that always seemed to target and somehow get "lucky" advantages over me as a single player.
