Another amazing performance. These players are sooooo good! Brookline and Andover MA; play attention. Mistral is smack dab in the middle of your neighborhood.

The playing is so good, you don't realize how good it is!! The intonation, for example, is spot on, all the time!

@@ashlliesi4530 hi again. Yes I checked my part and it is indeed just the violin part with plenty of 8va scribbles where I took it up the octave to make it work better... you are welcome to copy anything I did. :)

Ce trio, écrit à une époque où la combinaison de la flûte, du violoncelle et du piano était rare, est très original. Les œuvres de Farrenc n’étaient pas très appréciées à son époque, mais elles sont maintenant réévaluées pour leur beauté et leur perfection technique.

The point is this: each flautist has a unique personal mark. Sometimes, I find it difficult to listen to flautists for extended periods because there’s something irritating about the sound. However, in Julie Scolnik’s case, I can listen to her all day.

@fernellis7108 thank you! For my part.. I just used the original vocal score.. and didn't have to do much to the soprano part to play it on flute. Jason made his own arrangement. But I will try to find out for you.
