The last 3 years I’ve had severe back pain, just getting a handle on it now. Who care about the flashes, it’s the more severe problems these drugs cause. Friend on Letrozole got pancreatic cancer and died, her last words were *stop those drugs*. You can’t keep the joints moving when the drugs are stopping you moving at all. Funny Tumeric can interfere with🎉 tamoxifen. Drug after drug. How much are you getting paid for pushing them.

I stopped anastrozole as it was too debilitating, my surgeon said stop, I couldn’t move. Tamoxifen caused a pulmonary embolism (no symptoms) and anticoagulant was horrendous, stopped them all. There is no guarantee with these drugs. Stop making these drugs out to be safe and the holy grail. Doesn’t say much about surgery and radiation.

Can you please cite sources for the stats you are showing as I have read about waaay lower % benefits of radiation and hormones and there are very serious risks attached to it

Can you please put up tables with probabilities of new cancer (sarcoma, angiosarcoma, lung, oesophagus, etc.) caused by radiotherapy 5-15 years down the road; lymphoedema; fibrosis; breast shrinkage; permanent burn; red spider veins; etc. and their link (if any) to initial cancer type, radiation total dose and dose per treatment day (fraction); patient age; genetic test result; lifestyle (alcohol, smoking, sugar, exercise, body weight); etc. “Very small” risk of this and that is NOT how you should be informing patients as they might have preferred a mastectomy to lumpectomy + radiotherapy to avoid those “small chances” of life changing and life threatening radiation side effects altogether. It seems that hospitals and oncologists are making so much money on radiotherapy that it is being pushed as a standard treatment for everyone with stage1 and 2 in the UK, while in other countries you would be offered a choice between the 2 surgical options with explanation of all pros and cons.

The point is that research is not being done on treatments that are financially unprofitable. Big pharma is only interested in making money.

I am post menopausal with ER+ HER- breast cancer. I am slightly underweight (BMI 17). As I probably don’t have much fat, can I skip the aromatase inhibitor? I don’t want to risk thinning bones and the other side effects unnecessarily.

You don't state how many of those patients that where going to jumped ship, took your advise and stayed on the treatment plan. This might be ok for extremely mild symptoms.

Yes please I wish people would seek conventional and natural treatment together not separate. My mom tried only natural at a place in Florida going vegan but it failed and now she’s on hospice with the cancer all over her skin and only 68 😞

I was diagnosed with grade 2 stage 3a Breast cancer in June this year and underwent standard of care treatment- neo-adjuvant chemo (I could only tolerate 4 rounds out of 6 prescribed)+ phesgo target therapy, followed by surgery and now some radiation treatment. It was a 7cm mass with 6 nodes involved. As soon as I found out I had cancer, I put myself on a Mediterranean/keto style diet, and implemented much of what was outlined in this video. After the surgery, I found out the cancer had melted away, disappeared from both the breast tissue and nodes, all that remained was scarring. My optimum results I believe were due to standard of care treatments I received COMPLEMENTED by everything I implemented as in this video e.g., diet, lifestyle, cutting out sugar and highly processed food, supplements etc. I think it also helped that I had no other underlying health condition other than inflammatory arthritis, which I tend to manage mostly without anti inflammatory medication. I made the changes straight away, whilst waiting 8 weeks for my treatment to start 👍.Thank you for this video, I wish I'd seen it before having put in all the time and work in researching this via so many different sources.

I am so happy that an oncologist does not underestimate the value of diet and key supplements and actually has some real knowledge about them 13:37 . I heard nothing but crickets from mine when I consulted her about the use of supplements and diet to augment aromatase inhibitor therapy for me . I am concerned about the possible debilitating side effects from it and she merely stated that patients primarily complain about join and muscular pain 13:37 joint pain as if it’s not that bad !!

OK, I just have to say- my side effects from tamoxifen, even at 5 mg, were intolerable. It's not just that I couldn't function at work (I'm a physician) but that I couldn't function at all. Grocery shopping, using the ATM, cooking dinner were beyond my intellectual capabilities. Why are we pretending that all women can tolerate these? We can't.

This video was very informative, and helped me better understand the condition and the post surgery treatment. I am particularly happy that he included the natural options as I will stock up on all of those immediately. My oncologist told me it was 50/50 chance my cancer would com back in five years if I took tamoxafen. To me, it wasn't worth it. I ended up treating my breast cancer holistically. This month would mark five years, unofficially, and officially five years next month. I changed my diet; all protocol was with the direction of a holistic doctor and was tailored to my specific type of cancer and my bodies health needs. PS - he did address nearly the amount of side effect that these drugs cause. In my research, I felt the "risk" of not taking them outweighed quality of life.

Aromatese ihibitors affect bone density. How to reduce hot flashes?
@vilmavelazquez19796 ай бұрын
I had stage 3, ILC 7cm x 5 cm. Neoadjuvant chemo killled 95% of the tumor, then mastectomy, followed by radiation and endocrine therapy & CDK 4/6 inhibitor. Two years later, DIEP flap bilateral reconstruction. I feel 1/8 of the person I used to be. Hot flashes and fatigue are a constant 😢 ah, half way through the treatment my employer terminated my employment.
