So... I'm an hour into this film and while that horrifically polluted alpine lake and polluted creek at the beginning seemed fitting with re: the theme, all I'm seeing is matter(garbage presumably) in it's RIGHTFUL place. The dump bicycle, the dump truck, the dump boat, the landfill, the garbage processing plant, etc. You know... where garbage is SUPPOSED to be because, um... Humans produce a shit ton of garbage. And sure it sucks to see garbage where it ought not be, the trail, the beach, the mountain lake, the 1st basecamp of Everest.... relatively speaking we get most of our garbage to its rightful place. No? This film seems to be showing us(ok, me) exactly that. So far.
