But the classic doesn't have to have a bowl sitting in front of it to catch the flour. So I would sasy in all, it is actually not as 'deep' as the Harvest + a bowl. Plus you didn't get it course because you had your speed too high - you need to do both speed and courseness to get like a cracked wheat or corn meal.

Due to foot print needs in my kitchen I will stay with my red KitchenAid pro 6500. I will just make two more loaves while the first two are rising.

The Classic does not have stones, it has stainless steel discs. To get course flour with the classic turn both nobs all the way to the right. I have both. On the Harvest turn clockwise for fine flour, for coarse turn the nob counter clockwise.

The back cushions…did you remove the old batting before adding the new filling?

I think they made the smaller one quieter. It’s just me and my husband so I love love it for space saving and it is done grinding before I get the rest of the ingredients together. I have the four cup Pyrex measuring cup and it fits perfect to catch the flour.

This gives me confidence to buy those expensive couches and refill when time to , thx for the video

Great video! Would've been good to know the weight & the compression number of the foam and how it felt. This is one of the most difficult aspects of choosing the correct foam.

What density number was the foam?

A little oil on the lid rubber makes it glid really easy.

The foam is a steal. We went to a Jo Ann's Fabrics here in San Diego and they wanted like HUNDREDS for one or two pieces of foam.

where did you purchase your foam and what was your density and IFD numbers?

Mine broke after 2 years of light use. The warranty is 1 year. Not impressed.
