I've had a BT1100 for almost ten years, but never had such a bad start, not even after the winter break. Maybe a bit more maintenance is not a bad advice, two fresh candles can do wonders.

If you have a passion for older motorcycles - because it has a carburetor - it's worth it. Such motorcycles are no longer in showrooms and will never be.

I have mine 3y now, and I am satisfied alot. I put on him supersport tire 180 and on front regular and that it is. Good bike. Cardan is very clean, and very good. Put some led light form aliexpres with lens, and it is very bright. Brakes are fabric from R1 Brembo cilindres, no abs and it is fany to ride and forks are from xjr with manual kontrol hardness.

Thanks for the replies, but in the end I avoided it because it didn't convince me about freewheeling. I finally fell in love with a 2005 Honda VFR 800, it will be for the next time :).

@@LurenZ87 You make a good choice because I think the bulldog is not for that , it is too big 250kg full with gas. It is for some other purpose. :)

Do not give it gas when starting, your startercuppling wil get broken.

@@grzmi79 it's a common issue with the yamaha 1100. Look up the twiated starterbolts on google. You'll find more about this.
