OMG I made this last month and fell in love, minus cream of celery. I just happen to have can! Never tasted it, but could I use it this time? Trial and error is everything and I needed something creamy. Just got a pepper and onion to fix today...but I googled with cream of celery and I am in shock this came up! I knew it was feasible! Going to the kitchen!!!

That ain’t the holy Trinity. The holy Trinity is onion, bell pepper, and celery.

One pot dinners are winners. I gave this recipe a try. Simple, delicious with lots of flavor to savor. It was yummy, yummy, yummy in my tummy. AND it wasn't a budget buster.

Wow, so disappointed...I used Tony's Creole Seasoning and smoked paprika and it was almost too salty to eat. Wish I had used unsalted butter...oh well, next time

I would cook the meat and then remove. Don't drain. Add veggies to cook and soak up the meat and flavor and add everything to THAT pan

It's a good and simple recipe, that's for certain. My concern is mainly in that ground beef doesn't have that much flavor. It doesn't contrast enough with the cabbage. But then, I'm more of a corn beef and cabbage fan. But you could stretch the corn beef with ground...

If you drain off the liquids/fats from your meat, you lose so much natural flavor. I am going to make this, it looks really good. Thank you.
