@@myjourneyofdiscovery Thanks for getting back to me…I sold my gxl a few years ago and sold my glove box with the signature separately…looks like I have the opportunity to buy the gxl back and I thought that may have been my original glove box…yours is an awesome car. Cheers

I would never sell the glovebox lid with the car, I will always be keeping that, even if I did sell the car. :)

Awesome man, I scored a lap this morning as well. What a facility JUST up the road from us. I live in the southern suburbs so took the Wellington ferry home and got lost AF, but didn't care. What a day for a drive! And now you've got one of the FIRST laps of the Bend on the Tube!

It's a real shame, I grew up belting around as a kid on trikes and in buggies at this place, still remember the wink old Ross used to give me whenever at the farmhouse workshop while the old man and his mates used to weld broken stuff back together to make it tough again so we could go back out there. One year he took a mate who was into 4WDs. Two years later the place was ruined. Trees pulled out to make a pissy little track when there was acres and acres of tracks there already, rubbish everywhere, engine and driveline parts everywhere, burnt tyres and f knows what else. Can't believe access is still granted to this site, absolutely baffles me that they let anyone back in there again, I'm pretty sure it was shut down for a number of years. Totally stuffed the buggy scene for the 80's & 90's! Glad to see it's still on the map and bringing people pleasure. Only hope it's looked after better now than it was by those muppets back then!
