Always enjoy going back to my hometown even more so during the Christmas light up time...actually drove around 4th Ave area, some pretty beautiful light displays on the topside as well.. Thank you for putting this video together. Herb Rice

Thanks Eric! And yes, seems to have slowed on the HCC project, must be the snow...I think they're waiting for the concrete to cure on the west foundation? I flew it this past Saturday. Will post a vid to the Google Photos page soon...😀

Thanks, yes, the filming gets lots of locals out to watch. Still, not as big a production as when Sonic the Hedgehog movie was filmed here though.😆

Hi Doug. You lived to fight another day, that's the main thing! I think the rounded top of the lamp really help deflect the drone up and over (thankfully) That's possibly what happened with my mishap. Thanks again & Cheers. SAA

After all those flights and videos with the Roci, it managed to graze a light standard while NOT in your control. I'm presuming she was on a waypoint mission. Reckless little hussy. If you took a profile of the light standard it would be >95% air, 5% structure. Nice flying Roci - oops. Great flight despite all that. Especially since there was no damage. She's a hearty little hussy. Looking forward to the progress vids.

Cheers mate, yes THE waypoint mission it was. I'm finding just how important it is to have many sats connected before engaging missions! I should have stopped this one when the 1st waypoint seemed off by a few meters. It was between waypoint #2 and #3 when the oops happened.

Thank you, I used Photoshop for the time-lapse vid. First Lightroom for my post editing, then export to jpg's so as to import as a series into PS.

Well done Dougster! So very thoughtfully put together. The mix of time lapse, stills, video and drone shots was nicely balanced with seamless flow. I loved the arrival and departure shots. The music fit so well and the single bird chirp near the end made it all a complete delight. It soothed me.
