How in gods name did I miss this. And at my home course too. I was subbed, but weirdly I’ve been unsubscribed. Gutted. If you do it again I’ll happily do this. I reckon a singles comp would work better tbh

See.. that's mad isn't it. KZbin is cheeky for that. There has been a few channels commenting about it over the last year. Shame. Next time. I won't go on such a big scale and I'll certainly do more of a singles thing as I was surprised at how many singles applied compared to be pairs

@@RealgolfWD tough to get 2 people available on the same day especially if midweek I guess. If you want to use Hamptworth again, I will spread the word and get a few in on the mix, even guys that aren't members there I know would join I think

@@RealgolfWD yeah right in the heat of summer not many courses in our area have irrigation allowances to water. It was prime today. lush thick green fairways. I play at Parkstone, Broadstone, Ferndown, Remedy and Hamptworth and Ferndown/Remedy has the greenest fairways, but the other 3 all burn out in summer. Remedy the best but always a bit muddy as pure clay based course, so suffers bad in rain

Slope is 127, course rating of 69.3. par is 69. We really did get to see the course from all angles, cracking course in excellent condition. Still plenty of golf to be played 😉

Np , IN those days it was a 'closed' membership for Members of parliament , High Ranking military and Police . 'Black Ball' membership but if you proposed a new member and they got 'blackballed ' you lost your membership and had to reapply the next season ... Brutal . :)

Insane isn't it. Even watching it back. Horrendous. The tee box is right next to the 2nd green so when you walk up u just place the bag next to it... The mad thing is my watch had different yardages and all sorts. So stoopid

Good to watch your 'tube' , sorry for the pun :) . Took early retirement and moved up t'north ... havent played golf for 20 years so a bit of catching up to do . Getting my Sureshot V5 tommorrow and a trolley to start hitting some courses . Spent last year at driving range with lessons , nearly there ! Making me feel old as my daughter daughter is getting near 40 :(
