Short throw projector is an option in this example, but at floor projection that's impossible, you have to use multiple projectors there to cancel shadow. I am working on this project, so I would be glad to make it with Touchdesigner. Thank you!

hi may i know if this can apply on floor projection? and with multiple audience?
@dongmyoap6533 Жыл бұрын
Yes, this system can also be applied for floor projection. This system can also apply to remove shadow cast by multiple audience. In that case, it need as many projectors as multiple audience.

Ok guys, I know that you can just use a short throw projector or try repositioning it. But it's still pretty cool, specially for projects (very specific ones) is an extremely good and useful idea, at least for my project. Well, if you just don't want shadow on your projection, yeah just buy a short throw projector or try repositioning it.

amazing, how do you create the reference motion? what do you do that with?
@seokpyohong32243 жыл бұрын
Hi! I'm sorry for a little late reply and thank you for your interest. Basically, our motion prediction part synthesizes the reference motions which are created from motion capture data by exploiting Motion Matching technique. Given the reference motion, our optimization (model-predictive control, MPC) makes the character perform soccer motions.
@McHornet73 жыл бұрын
@@seokpyohong3224 so do you make this prediction with animation poses? do you use the predefined animation poses? if yes! sound 5 frames of animation pose it works? thanks for listening!!
@seokpyohong32243 жыл бұрын
@@McHornet7 Yes, we used predefined animation poses, more specifically saying the poses come from motion capture data. Answering your 2nd question, however, I think our simulation wouldn't work with only five frames of animation pose. It's because Model-predictive control requires more than 20 frames of reference motion at least in order to predict future motions. We defined the minimum frames of reference motion should be 20 as described in implementation details, Sec 6.1. Thanks.

@seokpyohong32244 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately, we have no plan to release the source code yet. Instead, let me list up some highly-related papers for assisting the implementation. 1) Data-guided Model Predictive Control Based on Smoothed Contact Dynamics [Han et al., 2016] 2) Synthesis and stabilization of complex behaviors through online trajectory optimization [Tassa et al., 2012] 3) Rigid body dynamics algorithms [Featherstone 2008] Thanks for your concern.

Hello, this is the 1st author of this paper, and I am sorry to reply too late. We set up the colliders between objects like body links, ground, and sphere (soccer ball) by using ODE (Open dynamics engine) physics engine. Thank you for your interest.

interesting. Please is it possible to take some blendshapes from faceshift version 1.02 to version 1.1.05 to improve retargeting in faceshift? version 1.02 has some blendshapes that are absent in v1.1.05. Both blendshapes are of the same vertex count. Thanks

@@francoestrubia6503 The end goal is to remove shadows from a projected wall. You can just reposition the projector so that the person does not interfere with the projection. Something like one rear, ceiling, or short throw projection is a simpler, better, and likely cheaper solution than multiple projectors, a computer and depth camera. Plus trying to align all projectors sounds like a real pain in the ass unless you have a permanent setup.
