Your videos are always enjoyable to watch. I have never forged anything, but I watch and pay close attention to how the metal reacts as you proceed. Thanks! The iron Hammer pendant I've made was cut cold from a piece of scrap, at my friend's motorcycle shop. I roughly shaped it with a saw, then a stone wheel, a rotary tool, and then metal files, and eventually, various grades of sand paper. I looks very good I think, but someday I'd like to forge one.

Really simple and handsome design. I learn a lot about my anvil and hammer blows from watching you work. Always a great experience. Using high carbon steel, and a nice stiff water quench, this design could make a decent flint striker

Not so much nowadays. Guess I have learned the hard way...😅 It works well, I have a better feeling without gloves. But I am sure it is just something I got used to. If I would wear gloves I would probably get used to that as well.

Great videos, would you mind doing another video showing how you forge a hannunvaakuna pendant? Im guessing you forge weld a ring and then wrap it around a former... i am intrigued :-)
