It seems like the Imposter is a lot better to Dan's social group, Dan seems unhinged and toxic, and while his friends want to help him because its "technically" morally right non of them can be convicted enough to maintain their loyalty and turn on the og Dan which is very telling. I don't know what this show is btw but I want the imposter to take over the orginial Dan, while he's a psychopathy he's still better then the original Dan.
