When doing a ruffle with fabric on the gold of the fabric when you bring right sides together I know to sew them about an 1/8 of an inch before gathering but for you sew the fold where you folded the fabric there as well to keep it nice and tidy after a wash ? Please anyone who knows if I should do that please answer. Thank you. Thanks for the video btw.

Very disappointing that the corner solution is not shown. It is very bulky and does not work for me doing a normal binding application.

does anyone know what to do if the needle threader does not go into the eye of the needle, but slides to the outside of the needle?
@kentsechrest1
@kentsechrest1 7 жыл бұрын
You need to have it adjusted or replaced. there are 2 torx 6 screws on the back you loosen to adjust it. Try a magnifying glass to make it easier.
@loriboufford6342
@loriboufford6342 6 жыл бұрын
You may have an needle which the eye is so small like a 12 or 10 that the threader will not go through it but over to the side or you may have your machine engaged in a stitch and the needle is off center at the moment and therefore it will not go in those are two common easy fixes

I just got my creative 4.5, it did not come with a cd. Is there another way to download my disks to transfer to my flashdrive , then to my machine, or do I have to have a 4d or 5d program to do this.

Charlene Carpenter touch scissors while stitching a pattern, it will sew the pattern it's on , finish with a knot, cut the thread and raises the foot.

That's interesting, to use parchment paper. I Mistyfused the backside of various fabrics using their "Goddess" sheet, cut out shapes, then laid my background block fabric on the ironing board and fused the pieces on right there. But with bigger background fabric like a border, assembling the pieces first would allow me to experiment with layouts more easily. Thanks for the tip!

Be sure to not use the buttons on the handle bar to start your quilter. Just use the screen when using the Quilt Artist II.
@rrc2859
@rrc2859 8 жыл бұрын
Why don't you use the buttons on the handle to start the quilter? (I'm wondering if this is causing some of my problems.) I've got another question for you. When I add a design to my pattern box, the first design will appear and when I press Autofill, instead of the design going across the quilt, it places the pattern below the first. So my design are going up and down not across.
@PrairieQuilt
@PrairieQuilt 8 жыл бұрын
You don't use those buttons because it will stitch everywhere, even when it shouldn't be a stitch e.g. a jump area. The reason your design goes down instead of across is because when you make your pattern box, start point one at the bottom left corner then go to bottom right point 2, top right point 3 and top left point 4.
