i never realized how beautiful the soundtrack to this little christmas special really was, “a terrible sight” and “he was made out of christmas snow” REALLY hit me like a damn truck, nostalgia can cause some damage to ya

Charlie Brown, Charlie Shultz, and Vince Guaraldi kick off the holiday season starting with the Great Pumpkin. Probably the most recognized soundtrack in the last nearly 60 years.

The original song was from the 60s and it was either an extremely brilliant, or extremely childlike, depending on your perspective. Some say the song was so big, it was LSD inspired. The guy who sang the 60s version was not a trained singer he was a renowned actor somehow.these are two very different versions of the same song than trying to mimic it

The original singer was Richard Harris.

Really appreciate you making this. I adore the broadcast version of these tracks and was wondering if there were isolated versions of those and it sounds great. Christmas Time is Here will forever be my favorite holiday song; the way it blends joy and heartache is genius from Vince.
