Genevive also told Sue that Sol brought up Gabes name as the next person out. So not only did she do a bad move she also made Sue, Gabe, AND Caroline get out someone that was maybe going after them in the future. Genevive also had the votes to get Sue or Kyle out idk why she didnt stick to the plan. SMH I love my girl but idk how shes going to adapt from this

Here’s my take on the whole Genevieve thing. On the surface her going after a Lavo is bad when there’s a chance to get out someone like Kyle or Sam, but Sol was actively undermining a lot of her interests. He was trying to collect Andy, he was protecting Rachel who she sees as a threat, he led the charge against her ally Rome at the merge, and now trying to take out Sue who was someone she was investing time into building a relationship with. He was also in a position where he could overshadow her game. He has some claim to the Kishan vote, then he turned the tribe against Rome, then he singlehandedly saved Rachel and caused Tuku to implode. I don’t think her “I’m petty” comment with regards to the Rome vote meant she was defending Rome. It was because she put all this effort into organizing a peace between Rome & Sol and then Rome entered merge trying to rattle the cages of big threats like Kyle & Sam which would have been great for her and the first thing Sol did when he hit the beach was launch an all out campaign against Rome and start trying to build his new army.

I started yelling at Jeff as soon as he said that four people would lose their votes. STOP IT. IT’S ENOUGH. Before we actually saw the journey and heard that 3/4 are just going to get their votes right back (which was such weird game design), I was telling my bf that this could be the third consecutive MERGE round where both Sam and Rachel aren’t voting. That’s so weird. Let them all vote or don’t merge them! And breaking them up into three uneven groups was also weird and took away agency from so many players. Genevieve just used up so much social capital to get out someone who should have been an ally of hers. She’s still Mothervieve but this felt like a “big move” for the sake of a “big move” rather than a smart move. I cackled when I got a Where’s Waldo themed commercial during the episode tonight though I’m like omg they’re already putting Genevieve in commercials!! Sad to lose Sol, he’s been pretty fun all season. I was kind of surprised that in all the chaos they didn’t just default to a straightforward Kyle boot, but you’re right. The majority already had the votes on Sol, so the scramble just served to make it unanimous. Sam was fun tonight but I don’t think anything he did tonight benefitted him since he already wasn’t the target. The Andy/Rachel relationship coming full circle is cute and they’re clearly the dynamic to watch this season. I still really like the Gata players but seeing them all essentially have to lone wolf it is stressful albeit interesting.

With the racism, I think the editors just thought the same as us "Oop. Look at how horrible she is. This is interesting. People need to see and judge for themselves." But as social media grew and people could be and were more easily harassed and having their outside lives affected by the show, BB concerned themselves more with protecting horrible people, because I'm sure they feared not having villains apply if they heard too much about what people said/did in the house costing them their livelihoods.

Im so glad rachel had that idol mama, rachel is the main character of this season, her edit is so rootable and positive. All we see are people saying shes a genius. Honestly I think it’s less the choice to keep Andy and more the lack of nurturing that relationship and treating him as expendable. Like it’s a social game. Also I like advantages hidden in food in a chance/luck kind of way because bidding on them was what broke the auction to begin with. Everyone wanted to save their money instead of bidding on food items. But they need to stop the lose your vote thing so we can actually have a bidding war. Rachel confirmed to Fishbach on twt that she did it both to gauge reactions and so that she didn’t have a vote since she didn’t know which way things were going (which is so smart bc then she didn’t have to target either Sam or Sierra on a revote or cause a target on herself by voting Gabe.)

For an auction, there was very little bidding actually happening. It was just the person with the highest amount getting what came next, which is not fun to watch. If they are going to do the person with the highest amount left at the end loses their vote (which is incredibly stupid and boring imo) they should have everyone start with the same $500 or whatever. I agree haha I was all team fuck Lavo after they voted out Aysha but now Genevieve Sol and Teeny are 3 of my top 4 (Rachel is the other one and she’s not number four)
